29:31How did your skate feel out there?
29:32Well, my knees were like jelly, but it's the nerves.
29:38I don't think we ever get over the nerves.
29:40No, but otherwise, you know, considering everything, my last skate, I'm definitely retiring now.
29:49Retiring now. Okay, but when we talk about considering everything, we have to mention that Maureen is our undisputed oldest
29:58-youngest, or youngest-oldest competitor in the competition, and your age, are we allowed to say it?
30:04Sure. Yes. My son once asked, how old is a lady when she starts telling her age? And in my
30:11case, I'm 84.
30:12And just turned. You just had a birthday, didn't you, on Monday?
30:16Yes, I did. It was the end of August.
30:17End of August. Okay, so very recent. Happy birthday. But, I mean, congratulations to you, and what you have accomplished.
30:26We'll be sad to see you retire.
30:27I've watched you skate a few programs here, and I know everybody's cheering for you, and you really are remarkable
30:33out there.
30:35How long have you been skating?
30:37Well, we figured that when it says I started at nine, that's 75 years.
30:41But there were many years in the middle when I didn't skate at all, and I have really not done
30:47anything since 22, and I didn't skate last winter, so I just had a couple months to prepare for this.
30:53Yes. Well, you must have crammed for the exam because you did a great job preparing. It's been an honor
30:59to watch you skate.
