At the Karwan Bazar rail gate area in Dhaka, the railway line takes a sharp curve of nearly 60 degrees. Despite two active tracks carrying around 200 trains daily, hundreds of commuters and pedestrians walk directly along and across the lines every hour.
This video captures a train approaching the sharp curve—packed with passengers, including many riding dangerously on the roof. Standing or walking on active railway tracks around blind curves creates severe safety hazards, leaving almost no reaction time for oncoming trains or pedestrians.
