00:04You know, it's like those kind of feelings always creep in.
00:08A lot of it is the background, you know,
00:09growing up in Anfield, in Liverpool, very working class.
00:13I didn't realise we were growing up
00:15in what was literal poverty.
00:17Like my parents kind of hid that from me a little bit.
00:19Yeah, I remember the first time I got invited to NAMM show.
00:23And my dad said to me,
00:24oh, people like us don't go to LA.
00:26And you know, like, he doesn't mean it in a bad way,
00:28but it's like, yeah, that's the mentality kind of thing.
00:31And I think I've never been one of these
00:34where I can put on that brave face and be like,
00:36oh, I know everything because the more I learn on guitar,
00:39the more I realise I don't know.
00:41And I think that should be the way for every musician, really.
00:44It's like, it's not like a video game, you know,
00:47where you get the achievements or the trophies.
00:49And then once you've got all 50, you've completed the game.
00:52It's like, there's no such thing in music.
00:54There's always something new to do.
