Beelzebub wasn’t always the horned demon most people picture. 👹
In Second Kings, Baal-zebub appears as the god of Ekron, consulted through an oracle. Centuries later, the name resurfaces in the Gospels as Beelzebul, “prince of demons.”
Same ancient name. A radically different identity.
From a rival god’s oracle… to a ruler of demons.
