00:13Starting September 23rd, we're bringing six weeks of thrilling quests just in time to celebrate the Halloween season.
00:19And who better to host these games, none other than Oogie Boogie from Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.
00:25From choosing if you'll go along with Oogie Boogie's frightful schemes around the valley, to a haunting transformation of Scrooge's
00:31Store, featuring a variety of haunted minigames for you to partake in, this update's sure to provide a bone-chillingly
00:37good time.
00:38Each week, tricky new challenges await, with delightfully frightening new rewards in store for completing them.
00:43Oh, and don't think we've made you go alone.
00:46Continue progressing through the weekly quests, and you'll be able to unlock the beloved Zero from Disney Tim Burton's The
00:52Nightmare Before Christmas as a loyal companion to accompany you throughout your frightful journey.
00:57Following the completion of the final week of mayhem, you'll then be able to invite Oogie Boogie to officially join
01:02the valley, bringing with him his new haunting home and ghoulish friendship awards.
01:07After November 4th, Oogie Boogie will be leaving the valley, so be sure to log in and begin his quest
01:11by then if you want to be able to invite him to stay in your valley.
01:14But don't worry, Oogie Boogie will return around Halloween next year for anyone who does not unlock him during the
01:20Season of Scares update.
01:21Also arriving this update is the all-new Haunting Elegance Star Path.
01:25Prepare to charm all your trick-or-treating guests with bewitching new attires, and adorn your valley with new, dark,
01:31whimsical furniture pieces.
01:32You'll also be able to give your house a festive new look with a new Halloween-inspired house skin, and
01:38a dream style for Scrooge McDuck will also arrive this update, giving him an all-new look for the scary
01:42season.
01:43And arriving to the premium shop are the Evil and Good Witch bundles, featuring new, wickedly magical attires, enchanting new
01:49furniture pieces, and matching bee-witching companions to bring alongside you on your upcoming spine-tingling adventures.
01:56Now, we know dressing up is an integral part of Halloween, so might we suggest wearing the new Little Red
02:02Riding Hood costume, inspired by Disney's television series, Once Upon a Time?
02:06Of course, accompanied by your very own new Big Bad Wolf-inspired canine companion.
02:10Stitch will also be embracing this season's festivities by introducing his new vampire costume dream style, along with a new
02:18neo-gothic bridge kit accompanied by its own garden set.
02:21And a new companion bundle will be arriving to the premium shop, welcoming Lucifer from Disney's Cinderella to the Valley,
02:27alongside beautifully regal rewards.
02:30Lucifer arrives with his special ability to chase after critters around your valley, gathering rewards in a unique pose when
02:35in photo mode.
02:37Alongside an exciting new star path and mystical items comes two thematic events to the Valley, just in time for
02:42the Season of Scares.
02:43October 7th marks the return of the Haunted Floating Festival event.
02:47Until October 31st, explore the decorated festival grounds to discover new and returning puzzles galore, and earn exclusive seasonal decorations
02:55for solving them.
02:56But that's not all.
02:57Starting October 14th until October 31st, the Trick-or-Treat event is back, featuring an all-new way to earn
03:03candy.
03:04Collect frightfully delicious candy bowls from around the plaza, or now by going door-to-door trick-or-treating at
03:09houses that feature a jack-o'-lantern outside.
03:11Continue trick-or-treating around the valley, and you'll be able to unlock yourself brand-new Disney Tim Burton's The
03:17Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town exterior decorations.
03:20Now, let's jump into all the exciting features and quality of life improvements you can expect from this update.
03:25Starting things off, we'd like to introduce an all-new feature arriving to the game, the event board.
03:30After having unlocked your first realm and spoken to Merlin, you'll then be introduced to the new event board posted
03:35in the plaza.
03:36This feature allows you to keep track of everything going on in the valley, and participate in a new permanent
03:41path, free for all players.
03:43Progress at your own pace in this path by completing quests around the valley to unlock special astronomy-based rewards.
03:49Second, decoration presets are receiving major upgrades this update, including the new ability to create and share your presets to
03:56other valley villagers by using code sharing.
03:58By hovering any of your presets, you'll now be able to generate a unique code that can be given to
04:03others to use, adding your design to their preset collection for placement with ease.
04:07That new craftable witchy backyard set is too cute, just in time for Halloween.
04:12Moving on, ever felt like redecorating a specific biome, but didn't want to go through the hassle of removing all
04:16your decorations?
04:18Arriving this update is an all-new way to mass-remove furniture, clear existing landscaping, fences or paths, all with
04:24the click of a button.
04:25And don't worry, you'll also have the option to undo before saving, should you wish to return your build back
04:30to its original design.
04:32Next, as of this update, we're further opening the doors of creativity by allowing some functional buildings around the valley
04:37and character stalls to now be placed on floating islands.

04:45Finally, Olaf's Grand Exhibition will be opening up two new rooms based on the Forgotten Lands and Valley Plaza.
04:51This update marks the finale of Olaf's Grand Exhibition-based Valley Biome Rooms.
04:56By completing both new rooms and having every other room in the exhibition complete, you'll be rewarded with two stunning
05:02new furniture pieces and a delightful new scholarly fox companion as a congratulations for all your hard work.
