00:00The Crippled Beggar at the Beautiful Gate
00:02Why Peter Refused to Give Him Silver
00:04A crippled beggar sat daily at the temple's beautiful gate.
00:08He expected copper coins from the passing religious worshippers.
00:12But heaven had a radically different plan for his life.
00:15Peter and John approached, locking eyes with the desperate man.
00:19The beggar looked up, expecting his usual daily handout.
00:22Peter stopped and stared deeply into his expectant face.
00:26He declared he had no silver or gold to give.
00:28Instead, he offered the matchless power of Jesus Christ.
00:32Peter grabbed the man's weak hand and pulled him up.
00:35Instantly, divine strength surged through his paralyzed ankles.
00:39The man leaped to his feet, completely healed.
00:42He walked into the temple, jumping and praising God.
