00:00Mr. President, you just built a very strong case for patriotism over globalism.
00:05So I would ask your advice for the UK if we were to pursue that same vision.
00:09And if I could ask Prime Minister Burnham as well,
00:12your predecessor famously said he was happier in Davos than Westminster.
00:16Are you happier in Manchester or Manhattan?
00:19Oh, this is a not-so-risky question.
00:21You ought to go first.
00:22Well, I'd like to remind the President every now and again
00:27to be called the great city of Manchester.
00:30You know it so well.
00:31Bev's a Mancunian.
00:34She's great.
00:34You once called it some town.
00:36We don't hold it.
00:37I don't hold it against you as the former mayor.
00:40But obviously I'm very much at home.
00:43Makerfield, Manchester, but here too.
00:46I love coming here.
00:48But I'm patriotic as well.
00:51And I was explaining to the President today,
00:53Britain has been in too much turbulence,
00:59a sense of just not knowing where we're going.
01:01And I think you responded when I said
01:04we're going to lay out a plan for Britain, a 10-year direction.
01:07The country's got so much going for it.
01:10And it's time to turn the story about Britain to a positive story,
01:15get some hopefulness going around the country.
01:18And I think you were saying today that very much is how you see it
01:22and there's a great opportunity for us as we go forward.
01:26Well, Bev always asks good questions.
01:28But I think there's a tremendous patriotism in Britain.
01:32And you call it United Kingdom Britain.
01:35They call it sometimes England.
01:36They go back to the old – it's got more names than any other place in the world, right?
01:40And sometimes they have to be educated and so on.
01:43But there's great patriotism in the country.
01:46They want to see great things happen.
01:49Tremendous potential.
01:51I mean, I see some countries and I'm with the leaders and I won't say it,
01:55but I don't see a lot of potential.
01:57They've got a tough road to go.
01:59This is a country with great patriotism.
02:01They love the country.
02:01The people love the country as much as any other country I can think of.
02:06And I think it's just waiting for success,
02:08waiting for good leadership, waiting for success.
