00:00We want to begin in the stormy southeast, check out this vivid lightning last night in Albany, Kentucky, as storms
00:05rolled through.
00:07Pretty vivid stuff there in southern Kentucky.
00:10And we've had the storms, and you know what? That's going to continue across much of the southeast as we
00:14go through the next couple of days.
00:15Now, we've been talking about the nor'easter that's causing problems for coastal North Carolina up through the mid-Atlantic.
00:22Let's talk about the rest of the southeast now, though.
00:24So here's your footprint for your Wednesday, everybody that sees the rain and the thunderstorms.
00:28But it's still spotty.
00:30Let's take a look at future radar, kind of fill in the gaps, get you an idea of what we're
00:33talking about.
00:34So more widespread heavy rain to start the overnight hours really tonight into the Carolinas.
00:40But then things really taper off, and there's our more classic spotty thunderstorms as we go throughout our Thursday.
00:46Now, we will have some more widespread downpours at times, but for the most part, this is kind of what
00:53we're used to in the southeast.
00:54I know you saw all of the action of our developing nor'easter off the coast there.
00:58That's going to be more of an impact farther to the north.
01:01Now, as far as our temperatures as we go through the next couple of days here, well, Wednesday, take a
01:06look.
01:07We still have some humidity with us, especially we look towards Florida here.
01:12This is where we're really seeing the temperature departures, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville.
01:15That's where it's still feeling like summer, even though it is technically officially fall now.
01:21But somewhere like Nashville, I mean, our active weather real feel high, actually two degrees below our forecasted high.
01:27Similar situation in Raleigh, North Carolina here.
01:30So I think we'll take it, especially after the heat and the humidity that we've had recently.
01:35Let's go to somewhere like Atlanta.
01:36So we have the thunderstorms Wednesday.
01:38Remember, some downpours at times.
01:40So you definitely want the umbrella, the rain jacket on standby.
01:43We dry out as we head to Thursday.
01:45And then it's looking pretty good here as far as rain chances and our temperatures for the next six to
01:52seven days after this.
01:54So 75 Thursday, we go back into the 80s Friday and we stay there.
01:58But hey, that's so much better than the 90s, right?
02:02Something a little bit different and a sign that we're heading towards fall now that it really is officially fall
02:09at this point.
