“I was relaxing in the sun for several minutes when I reached into my pocket for a lighter and felt something prickly inside. When I checked, it was a giant caterpillar. I had never seen one that big and didn’t know if it was dangerous, but it really creeped me out. In a panic, I pulled off my shorts and carefully removed them using a key and a plastic card, then flung them away,” the filmer, Pearse, told WooGlobe.
It is an ordinary pocket turned into an unlikely hiding place, and the careful handling keeps the moment more practical than dramatic.
