00:14The Portuguese-British company raised $580 million and develops AI-powered autonomous
00:19systems, including surveillance drones. Takever said its drones have logged more than 50,000
00:24operational flight hours in Ukraine since 2022. The UK Ministry of Defense selected the company
00:31in July to provide surveillance technology under a program worth up to about $530 million
00:36over 10 years. Takever plans to use the new funding to expand internationally,
00:41increase its industrial and technological capabilities, and accelerate strategic acquisitions.
