00:04scared to leave their dorms in the wake of two suspicious deaths and one
00:08freshman believes she may have been drugged the very same week. Mary Harvey
00:11told Fox News Digital that she'd gone out to a bar to watch Ole Miss vs LSU but
00:16remembers nothing after that. Around the time when the game ended I do not
00:20remember a single thing. I was told by a boy that was there that I fell down. Mary
00:24says she was thrown out of the bar by the bouncer who left her on the curb
00:27alone until two girls found her. They called Mary's mom as well as the cops who
00:31by her account were no help. The officers sent the inebriated student back to her
00:35dorm alone in an uber. The cops put me in the backseat of an uber all by myself
00:41and shipped me off to my dorm where the uber driver apparently had to get other
00:46students to help her carry me into my dorm put me in the bed. She didn't stay
00:51there though. Mary's roommate came back from a shower to find her missing and
00:54later found her passed out in the hall. Now Mary has been trying to piece
00:57together the events of the night but is struggling since she can't remember a
01:00thing. She said she's asked for security footage believing her drink was spiked at
01:04some point but hasn't been able to get her hands on it. What's especially
01:07troubling is that this incident happened the same week two male students 20 year
01:10old Robert Strang and 18 year old Aidan Hamilton died in separate incidents. The
01:15deaths sent shockwaves across the Ole Miss campus. Reagan Settle the editor-in-chief of a
01:21student newspaper says a lot of misinformation has been floating around
01:24campus and students are upset. I know a lot of students are frustrated that the
01:28university is not pushing people towards the McKee Center warning them against
01:32taking unprescribed medications nothing to play around with for the near future
01:39until law enforcement says otherwise. In both death investigations packaged
01:43kratom a legal substance that acts like a stimulant in small doses and a
01:47sedative in large ones was found. The narcotics squad released a statement quote
01:51out of an abundance of caution we encourage everyone to avoid kratom and
01:55any other medication or substance that was not prescribed to you or obtained from
01:59a trusted regulated source. However county officials couldn't immediately confirm
02:03whether the kratom was a contributing factor in the two deaths. The students
02:07toxicology reports are expected within a few weeks.
