Former speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez attends via videoconference the Sandiganbayan Third Division’s pre-trial proceedings in his P7.4 billion plunder case from the New Quezon City Jail infirmary in Payatas on Sept. 25, 2026. The court granted Romualdez’s request to attend the proceedings remotely. Romualdez camp is expected to file his petition for bail, Third Division Clerk of Court lawyer Dennis Pulma said.
