00:29If you run the ball well against the Colts, all of a sudden,
00:33who have been bad for two weeks and other teams have just ran through,
00:37all of a sudden you think you've got your run game back, right?
00:40I think the one thing that's been blatantly obvious in the first two weeks
00:44of the season is blatantly obvious because you're playing true contenders
00:49that you have to overtake in order to get where you want to go.
00:52Like those are the first two weeks of the season.
00:55Those are the two dudes that you've got to overtake.
00:58To get where you want to go.
00:59And if we're being completely honest, the run game was not great in the first game,
01:03and it was absolutely awful in the second game.
01:07And I know, look, I mean, we can sit around here and listen,
01:09oh, man, Dexter Lawrence.
01:10Yeah, man, look, those kind of guys are going to be littered
01:13throughout the playoffs in a regular year where you've got Chris Jones
01:18in the middle of there.
01:19You've got Matt Abike in the middle of there.
01:21You've got Dexter again.
01:24Dexter again, potentially.
01:26I mean, like it's – those are the teams that you've got to figure –
01:31I mean, they're littered on your schedule.

01:32You've got Jonathan Simmons you've got to deal with.
01:35Jeffrey Simmons, excuse me, you've got to deal with twice a year.
01:37Yeah, so you're going to see – now, I think the problem's obviously bigger
01:41than just Dexter Lawrence.
01:42That's why I hate the whole thought of like, oh, boy,
01:44they've got a pretty good guy over there like we talked about.
01:46Boy, I mean, I think 98 had a career day.
01:48I think 93 kind of reemerged and doesn't feel like he's –
01:52where was he, in Washington before?
01:53I think he feels pretty good about being in Cincinnati.
01:56So, I don't think it was just one guy.
01:58I think it was a total group effort.
02:00However, the point is simple, Ron, is when you couple the fact that
02:09the possibility of a team that spent six months trying to build
02:13a more physical offensive line and drastic measures across the board
02:17to move the needle and move this offensive line to a more physical group
02:22and run the football, right?
02:24It's clearly that you have not accomplished that, right?
02:28And if they're serious about winning a title,
02:31if they're serious about going deeper in the playoffs than they've ever gone,
02:35I think they've got to consider sooner rather than later,
02:40I would start now doing my due diligence.
02:45They've got to look to acquire another high-end receiver.
02:49Like more than the one they just got from the Patriots.
02:51Yeah, that ain't it.
02:53I mean, I'm not saying Boutte can't be a good player.
02:58I've told you I'm higher on him than most.
03:00But if you're not going to use him and make him more of a priority,
03:09if we're still going to throw just as many balls to Jarrett Wayne,
03:11Xavier Hutchinson as we are, Boutte,
03:13that ain't the kind of guy I'm talking about.
03:15They've got to work on getting a guy in here that is a playmaker.
03:21They've got to get a guy in here that, whether it's with size, speed,
03:24a combination of both, route running, whatever it may be.
03:27I think that's even with Niko.
03:28Yeah, no, no, no, no, no.
03:30But the whole point is, if Niko's healthy, then cool.
03:35You've got a legit one-two punch that we thought you may have had
03:39with Jaden Higgins, right?
03:41But the reality of it is, I think it would be a bad, bad, bad decision
03:47if D'Amico Ryans and Nick Casario put this team in a spot
03:52where they've got to depend on Niko Collins to be healthy.
03:56If you really think this is a window where you can go win a championship
03:59and you feel like you've got the squad to do it,
04:02you absolutely cannot move forward with an offense that looks like this
04:09when Niko Collins goes down.
04:11We saw it last year against the Patriots in the playoffs,
04:17and we've seen it in one of two games this year.
04:22First two games of the season we saw it.
04:24If your offense is going to look like that,
04:26and the reality of it is we can talk about playmakers.

04:29We can talk about playmakers.
04:30Jarrett Wayne, Xavier Hutchinson, even I like Noel.
04:32Even Noel.
04:33Hey, come on, man.
04:35I mean, those guys ain't –
04:37They're certainly not proven.
04:38I mean, that's unfair.
04:39If you've got one of those guys out there that you're getting the ball to
04:42because somebody else is getting attention, cool.
04:44But if you're going out there running this offense
04:48to where you're just going to distribute the ball around, come on, man.
04:51I mean, who are you fooling?
04:52You're not winning at a high level with this.
04:55You're not going to be on the second round with this.
04:57And if you have to depend –
04:59if everything hinges on Niko Collins being healthy,
05:02I think we've learned our lesson.
05:05We've learned how bad they are without Niko,
05:08how desperate they are to have Niko healthy,
05:12and we learned, once again, how fragile Niko Collins is.
05:16So I just think that the longer you wait,
05:20the longer you wait, the more guys are going to be traded
05:24or guys are going to move around.
05:25We know it's going to happen before the trade deadline.
05:26There's good receivers that are going to be available.
05:28Several of them are going to be available, right?
05:30Some of the guys that could be,
05:32and I wonder if these would fit your thoughts.
05:35Jerry Judy with the Browns, could that be a potential?
05:39Calvin Ridley is somebody.
05:41Maybe the Titans unload.
05:45Washington Terry McLaren, Scary Terry,
05:47their season goes into the tank,
05:49which it looks like that's a possibility
05:51with their quarterback getting hurt.
05:53And then I see people texting this one in,
05:54the Marvin Harrison Jr. one from Arizona.
05:58Are those the type of guys?
05:59Are you thinking bigger?
