00:04I agree with a lot of the points that you made about artificial intelligence and about how money is a
00:08corruptive influence in politics often.
00:11And in that context, I'm very curious to ask you about the fact that your wife, your brother, your former
00:17attorney general, your former chief of staff, your wife's personal assistant,
00:22are among nine different corruption investigations currently ongoing into your government.
00:28Some people are in jail in connection to this. Some people are on trial. Some people are under indictment.
00:34And so I'm curious when we have this conversation about how to restore faith in government and how to shed
00:39the perception the government is influenced by dark money,
00:42how you see yourself and your government at a time when, according to European Commission opinion polls,
00:49many Spaniards think that you're one of the reasons behind corruption within Spain. Thank you.
00:54Well, thank you. Thank you. Thank you for this question. I would say that, of course, we suffer some cases
01:04of corruption.
01:06And I think that when it happens, no matter the countries, I think that what you must ask your government
01:15is to respond effectively.
01:17And this is what I did. With the cases of corruption, there are truth. And unfortunately, my government and my
01:25party suffered.
01:26But this is one side. And there's another one, which brings me to my family, my wife and my daughter
01:35and my brother.
01:38And sorry to say, those are not corruption cases or scandals. Those are other things.
01:48And to me, well, I think that the opposition and some far-right associations have crossed some red lines that
02:00bring me to a reflection that I would like to share with you as a politician.
02:07Being prime minister or politician is rewarding, because you can do a lot of things for your country.
02:15And I'm proud to say that I did a lot of things for my country.
02:19And there's the outcome and the evidence and the facts.
02:24But to suffer this personal attack is very difficult to assume, very difficult to assume.
02:34And it's much more difficult because a young student like you, you already condemn them.
02:46And you say that my brother and my wife are guilty, and this is not fair, because they are not.
02:55It's another issue which brings me to nasty politics, but not corruption.
