Some moments in nature happen so quietly they almost feel staged.
From the open window, the camera frames a nest set just below the sill, holding several blue eggs. One egg shows a break in the shell as the chick pushes outward, gradually widening the opening and working free.
“I arrived at my mother’s country house and went upstairs to open the windows and prepare the room. When we opened one of the windows, we noticed a bird’s nest directly below it with several beautiful blue eggs inside. At that exact moment, one of the chicks had already started hatching right in front of us,” the filmer, Iana, told WooGlobe.
The hatchling emerges and settles in the nest beside the remaining eggs.
With the nest positioned directly beneath the window, the scene reads like an unplanned close-up of a process that is usually hidden. The clip ends on a calm view of the nest, now with a newly hatched chick among the eggs.
