00:33and chose Erik as his replacement, but he made Erik his own weapon, a mace called Thunderstrike.
00:39As he couldn't think of anything better to call himself, he took the name of his mace.
00:43Thunderstika's powers were different from Mjolnir's. His nemesis Blood Axe was actually his girlfriend
00:48Jackie Lucas, so he used the Blood Axe with the Thunderstika mace to kill Seth, the Egyptian god
00:53of death. He was corrupted by the Blood Axe and went on a rampage. Erik regained control
00:58of the Thunderstrike and turned it against Thor, killing him. Erik said he was a man first
01:03and a hero second, and was sent, by Odin, to his own afterlife. Thor wanted his best friend
01:09to go to Valhalla for his heroism. On his gravestone Thor inscribed the world still needs heroes.
