Travel routines have a way of changing when wildlife decides to get involved.
Two girls walk along a street in Ubud holding Starbucks cups. Several monkeys cross in front of them and move in close as the girls continue forward. One monkey reaches out and grabs a coffee from one of the girls, and the girl quickly walks away with the other girl. As they retreat, more monkeys gather near the path, while the girls keep moving until they are clear of the cluster.
The moment lands in the small gap between a casual stroll and an unexpected reminder that, in some places, animals are paying attention to whatever people are carrying.
