00:11and SK elections slated in November to the second Monday of November 2028 and every 5 years
00:17thereafter. Barangay officials are limited to 2 consecutive terms while SK officials are limited
00:22to a single term. The last Barangay and SK elections were held in November 2023. The next
00:28was supposed to be held in November 2025 but Marcos enacted a law moving the date to November
00:332026. The House of Representatives and the Senate passed their versions of the bill setting a
00:38five-year term for Barangay and SK officials in September.
