On a grassy stretch of the Serengeti in Tanzania, a wildebeest carcass lies on the ground as two hyenas feed at close range.
As the seconds pass, additional hyenas run in from the background and sides of the frame, closing the distance quickly and joining the cluster around the remains. The group shifts positions as more animals arrive, with heads lowered toward the carcass and bodies pressed in tight around the feeding spot.
The moment captures how quickly a kill can draw attention and how fast the balance changes once more predators appear.
