00:00So this is the sixth edition of Indian National Groundwater Conference in association with
00:10the Association of Global Groundwater Scientists which is well established in the country and
00:17working for the groundwater cause and issues and challenges in the climatic change conditions
00:24across the world. So that is the basically theme to organize such kind of national conference.
00:33So 16 lead speakers from the different IITs, leading IITs like IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Hyderabad,
00:41IIT Delhi, IIT Dhanabad, NGRI, NIH Roorkee. I mean 16 speakers have kindly consulted and in these two
00:53days will be deliberating in the various issues of the groundwater under the climatic conditions.
00:59Okay, so recommendation and outcome of these particular programs will be definitely we are
01:04also very I mean expecting that the outcome of the conference will be helpful not only for the country
01:13but to a specific to the jharth and IITs well.
01:17The tomography of which you see in the warm-up, droughts, droughts, droughts,
01:24and the main reason is that the aquifer is not recharging.

02:06judiciously use for the livelihood, for the agricultural purposes, for the domestic purposes,
02:12and we should also protect for the future generation management.
