Jeff Bezos has invested $30 billion in Blue Origin as the space company raises outside capital, expands New Glenn launches and works to challenge SpaceX.

00:02Jeff Bezos has invested $30 billion in Blue Origin since founding the space company in 2000,
00:09including a new $2 billion commitment as it works to compete with SpaceX,
00:13according to the Wall Street Journal. The investment is part of Blue Origin's
00:17first capital raise involving outside investors. The company has raised $10 billion in the round
00:23at a $140 billion valuation. Blue Origin generated $800 million in revenue in 2025,
00:30and expects about $1.4 billion this year. It projects revenue will exceed $30 billion by 2030,
00:36driven partly by satellite communications, planned artificial intelligence satellites,
00:41and rocket launches. Blue Origin has about 15,000 employees and has conducted three new Glenn
00:47missions. The rocket has not flown since a vehicle exploded on a Florida launch pad in May.
