00:23One of the many changes to help achieve this is enhancing the wider news content within the game.
00:29For FM27, we've designed bespoke news content related to each phase of the season, club previews, mid-season check-ins
00:37and title run-ins.
00:39Journalists in-game now report on more interesting stories.
00:42You'll see these stories on the news screens we've worked on, including the ones at your club, which your press
00:47officer will forward directly to you as a message in your portal.
00:51You'll even see more job speculation around managers in your league, aligning with the times we often see managers sacked
00:57in real life.
00:59That work goes together with a game-wide redesign of the club, competition, news and nation screens.
01:04For each of these areas, we tasked the design team with reviewing the most important narrative aspects.
01:09What has happened? What is happening? What will happen next? And who are the key people?
01:14So for the club screens, we were looking to give you a sense of the identity of the club straight
01:18away.
01:18So you'll immediately see the manager, the top scorer, the highest performing players straight away in the header bar.
01:24You'll also get a sense of the club's history and squads straight away, as well as key transfers and news.
01:29On the news site, the For You algorithm previously populated everything.
01:34Now that's been separated and we've got a more distinct separation between news around the world and news on transfers
01:40without losing any of the For You content that's tailored to your interests.
01:44We've taken a similar approach to the competition sites, which have been redesigned to better highlight results, upcoming fixtures, key
01:53people, as well as dynamic aspects like team of the week, stats and transfers.
01:58You will also see an uplift in the new competition's hub screen, which offers a snapshot of what's going on
02:04in the various leagues and competitions you have loaded in your save.
02:08Our approach to player profiles follows the same logic.
02:12The real value is in the changes to the personal overview and career history.
02:18Now, it's a full screen experience, which gives you a deeper history of a player's career without the need to
02:25scroll.
02:26Plus, the improved quick flicks in the secondary navigation bar means it's easier to cycle through your own or other
02:34squads.
02:34So that leads me on nicely to another key addition for FM27.
02:38We've changed the default way the game processes, meaning that each time you click continue, you'll land in different game
02:44areas.
02:45This will increase the depth and breadth of what you see throughout your save in a way that feels familiar
02:49with past titles.
02:51On top of that, you can now define what type of experience you want to have within the game setup
02:56flow.
02:57Ultimately, this is about giving you more choice.
03:00We'll set the starting point, but just as there are new settings allowing you to change where you land in
03:04each key screen, it's up for you to determine how you want to play.
03:08For FM27, we've reviewed cup draws, transfer deadline day and made improvements to statistics and data visualization.
03:19So yes, cup draws are returning.
03:21That moment of seeing your lower league club draw the tournament favorites or a derby clash with your rivals is
03:28back in a familiar format.
03:29In the same vein, FM27 gives you an enhanced transfer deadline day experience with some key differences.
03:37You'll now see that agent offers are visible and active on the recruitment screen throughout the window rather than just
03:43appearing on deadline day itself,
03:45with offers from agents increasing as the deadline gets closer.
03:48Finally, there's data. We've focused on making statistics more visible in your overall experience, with upgrades to the data hub
03:56and stats during matches.
03:58Game-wide, you will also get quicker and easier access to important data, stats and technical information to inform your
04:06critical decision making.
04:08Everything we've showcased here has been designed to add these important layers of depth and immersion to your game.
