00:24If they had to book LSU Ole Miss again today, okay, maybe instead of three,
00:29it's a pick, but they still believe LSU are one of the seven best teams
00:34in college football.
00:36A&M, the jury is out.
00:38Texas A&M hosting a Kentucky team that hung for a little
00:44and then Bama just kind of pulled away on as a 16.5-point favorite,
00:50scored late to make it look good, and it still didn't look good.
00:54They lose 31-21.
00:57It's a tricky game here today, Dave, because, again, it's –

01:09You see, the only surprise with A&M last week was that the letdown train
01:13occurred so early in the season.
01:15You knew at some point A&M was going to let you down like they do every year.
01:18Not sure we expected it so early versus Kentucky, and, you know,
01:22I watched the end of that game.
01:24Like, Kentucky took it to them, and you and I talked about LSU.
01:27We were both on LSU last week versus Ole Miss.
01:29I think the bounce-back spot is much bigger for LSU here because this is a team
01:34that I still think has national title aspirations with Lane.
01:37I'm not sure anybody really thinks A&M is in contention.
01:40Sure, they're an SEC team that, you know, was undefeated into the last week
01:43of the season last year and come back with some players and yada, yada, yada.
01:47I like LSU in this spot.
01:49Eight and a half is a big number.
01:50It's not a game that's on my card.
01:52But if I'm in a pool and says, all right, which side are you going to take?
01:54I think this is a Lane step on the gas.
01:57You guys embarrassed yourselves last week.
01:59You still want to be national champs, go out there and beat the crap out of A&M.
02:02I would lean LSU in this one.
02:04My concern is Sam Levitt finally showed us what we all expected about Sam Levitt
02:09when they played Clemson, even though he destroyed Clemson.
02:11Didn't play very well versus Ole Miss last week,
02:14which justified what you and I were worried about.
02:16I still think what LSU has coming up on their schedule still includes it
02:20at Auburn, Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee.
02:23They need to take care of business first,
02:24and I think they put a little bit of a whooping on A&M today.
02:28It would not stun me if LSU drilled this team because they might be excellent.
02:37Like, I do – man, like, gosh, like, are we going to get into a Clemson conversation?
02:40We're going to spend a lot of time on that team next week, so let's not.
02:44I don't think LSU are as – or Clemson are as bad as LSU made them look.
02:48I think that's kind of where I'm at.
02:51I do think A&M – like, Mike Elko, as a nobody-believes-in-us underdog,
02:57is interesting to me.
03:00But I don't want to make a habit of fading LSU, who are, by the way, funny enough,
03:07after the opener, losers of two straight against the number.
03:11What I am willing to do in this game, though,
03:14is actually back these quarterbacks at prices that are just super, super appetizing.
03:21Sam Leavitt and Marcel Reed, both over one-and-a-half touchdown passes, makes my card.
03:26There's some quarterback props that I'm really excited about today,
03:29and these are two of them.
03:30Now, the prices are different, right?
03:33So if you're like, A, pick one, well, it depends.
03:36Do you want the bigger payout, or do you want the likelier-to-win option?
03:41Leavitt is likelier, which is why he was around, at last look, about minus 120.
03:46Sam Leavitt's only thrown three touchdowns, one in each game.
03:49But Texas A&M this year are giving up most of their touchdowns through the air.
03:55Minchie got there last week for Kentucky.
03:57Boley got there for Arizona State.
04:01And it's an LSU team whose team totals 30-and-a-half, right?
04:05I think Leavitt throwing two is a really secure way to play it.
04:09But getting Marcel Reed at plus 180 to throw multiple touchdown passes is pretty appetizing as well.

04:24I'm absolutely fine, Dave, doubling up on two quarterbacks that maybe they're not going to end up,
04:31you know, these Supreme Heisman Trophy contenders,
04:33but still talented guys we had some expectations for coming into the year.
04:38And I think we're getting good prices on.
04:40You are, and you saw what Chambliss did to LSU last week.
04:43So that defense is beatable.
04:46It is, and I think Marcel Reed, if, you know, he can get away from the pass rush,
04:50can throw for two touchdowns, you're getting a very nice plus number there.
04:54Leavitt is, it's an interesting thing with Leavitt.
04:56Like, you and I talked about it week one before they played Clemson,
04:59and he throws the pick on the first play of the game and then looks great.
05:02Hasn't necessarily looked great since then.
05:04Didn't look great last week, but almost brought them back.
05:06I do like your play of two touchdowns against this Texas A&M defense,
05:10but I think it's a bigger conversation of what Leavitt can do over the course of the year.
