**Dua Before Entering the Bathroom | Protection From Evil | Hisn al-Muslim 10**

The Prophet ﷺ taught us beautiful duas for even the simplest moments of everyday life.

Before entering the bathroom, we can say:

### 🤲 The Dua

**بِسْمِ الله**

**اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أَعـوذُ بِـكَ مِـنَ الْخُـبْثِ وَالْخَبائِث**

**Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika minal-khubthi walkhabā'ith.**

**“In the Name of Allah. O Allah, I seek protection in You from evil and the evil ones.”**

The wording *al-khubthi wal-khabā'ith* has also been explained as referring to evil male and female jinn.

This short Sunnah dua teaches us to remember Allah and seek His protection before entering the bathroom.
