A large honey bee colony was discovered inside a life-sized Jesus statue in Bavaria, Germany. The statue had been removed from its outdoor location for restoration. When beekeeper Simon Weber from "Imkerei mit der Goldnote" opened a panel on the back of the hollow statue, he discovered thousands of bees and several honeycombs living inside. The colony was carefully removed and safely relocated so the statue could be restored. We also have additional original footage showing the discovery, the honeycombs, the removal process and the successful rescue of the colony.
