00:14I'm making congratulations on winning the River Ness 10k, seven years after you first took part.
00:20I know, I feel old now.
00:21Why did you decide to come back today?
00:23So I finished my track season at the European Champs a month or two ago and then I decided to
00:30do a couple road races and this one wasn't actually on my plan but a couple of days ago when
00:34I knew I was going to be up supporting the event anywhere I thought it was fun to just jump
00:38in and see where I'm at.
00:39Did you feel quite nostalgic running through that course?
00:41Yeah, no I definitely, it's also familiar because even when I don't race I train on these roads every time
00:49I come home so I know it very well but it definitely doesn't get easier out there.
00:54How's 26 been for you? How would you sum it up?
00:57It's been up and down, it's definitely been, there's been highlights but it's been pretty tough at moments as well
01:03so yeah I'm just taking it all as it comes.
01:05And what's coming up for you next then?
01:07That's a good question, probably, there'll be some training, getting into winter training now so this is just sort of
01:14seeing where I'm at at the start of my next winter block and then probably some road races throughout the
01:19winter but still to be decided.
01:21Have you seen a lot of old faces, have they been good to catch up?
01:24Yeah, I know lots of people I'm used to racing against and then lots of familiar faces out cheering as
01:28well so definitely makes a lot of difference when everyone's cheering on the way home.
