Iranian forces reportedly targeted 19 vessels over Friday and Saturday, according to Iran’s IRGC-linked Fars news agency. Fars said 12 were targeted Friday and seven Saturday, describing them as vessels violating Tehran’s designated transit route.
The same report claimed Iranian cruise missiles and attack drones were launched toward commercial vessels south of the Strait. The identities of the vessels and the extent of any damage have not been independently confirmed.
