00:30to return to Venezuela.
00:32She was barred from running in the country's last presidential election with her substitute candidate widely believed to have won
00:39the vote.
00:40But former president Nicolás Maduro claimed victory and the disputed result triggered a crackdown forcing Machado and other opposition leaders
00:48into hiding or exile.
00:51Maduro was captured by U.S. forces in January with acting president Delcey Rodriguez now leading the country.
00:58Addressing the United Nations General Assembly last week, Rodriguez said elections would be held as part of a transition to
01:05full democracy.
01:06But she did not give a date, leaving questions over when and under what conditions Venezuelans will next go to
01:14the polls.
