00:00Farm toys like these are all the rage. Here at Henty Machinery Field Days we're
00:05trying to find out if getting a tractor as a kid can inspire a lifelong love for
00:09machinery. Yeah we're definitely seeing more and more people buying them at
00:13Field Days and yeah since we're getting out and about a bit more mum and dad on
00:16the farm have a red tractor the kid first thing the kid wants to do is come
00:19in and buy a red tractor to match what mum and dad have got and if we've got
00:23the same model tractor even better they they definitely like that. I think most
00:27farm kids are pretty big carpet farmers to say the least I certainly was as a
00:32young one so yeah this sort of stuff just really fits the bill for those kids a lot
00:36of it does it can come from probably what's in the farm shed at home if it's
00:42if it's a kid off the farm it does have some some weight in their future
00:48decisions I believe yes. We're creating the mini brand ambassadors for us and
00:53John Deere I guess so you know like getting getting the toys and and hats and
00:58merch and that in in their hands and wearing it that it's good branding for
01:02John Deere and for us as well. So the range that we carry now is fairly broad and
01:08yeah we're finding at the Field Days that we sell on lots and lots of different
01:12types of models and not just die cast but everything through to plastic stuff and
01:18kids hobby sets are very very popular and yeah main sellers are sort of pink
01:22tractors and all that sort of stuff is yeah moving pretty well. Usually the
01:26biggest thing that's out in the market at the time the big headers combines and
01:33probably big four-wheel drive tracked machines tigers etc.
