00:00So Glenn, NCIG workers are taking the industrial action today. Can you tell us what's brought you to this point?
00:09Well, bargaining's broken down. You know, the company is refusing to move from their position.
00:14And as you do with bargaining, you get to points where there's that middle ground needs to be found.
00:18Now, the workers are prepared to come to that middle ground, but NCIG is telling us that they're not.
00:24They're not prepared to sit down with us. They're not prepared to talk to us how we get to that
00:28middle ground,
00:29which is extremely disappointing. And the workers have been left with no choice but to take a significant stoppage of
00:35work,
00:35you know, to get the company's attention. Now, what we're being told by NCIG,
00:39that the board of directors are saying that they won't be providing any more than what's on the table right
00:44now.
00:45And I think that that's outrageous that, you know, it's the board of directors making those decisions.
00:49These are people that sit up the Hunter Valley, you know, getting billions and billions of dollars of profits
00:54out of the coal mining industry and rely on workers from the mines right along the supply chain down here
