00:05We'll be watching this trough and frontal system
00:07through central and southern parts of the country.
00:10That's going to bring showers, rain and thunderstorms
00:13to parts of Tasmania, western Victoria,
00:15southern and western South Australia,
00:17and also into eastern parts of WA as well.
00:21While further east, we've got a pretty dry day
00:23for much of the east coast with light winds there.
00:26Maybe some showers up around the north tropical coast
00:28as well, and maybe another front and cooler conditions
00:30impacting southwestern parts of WA as well.
00:34And maybe a few showers and maybe a possible afternoon
00:36storm as well for our far tropical north.
00:38We're almost into the build-up and wet season up there,
00:41but not quite.
00:42But let's have a look at all that in more detail.
00:44Firstly, in Queensland, we've got a couple of those
00:46coastal showers through central and northern coastal areas,
00:49particularly around the north tropical coast
00:51and exposed areas of the central coast.
00:53And maybe a few showers as well up around the Cape York
00:56area as well.
00:57Hot, dry and sunny through inland areas, temperatures
01:00in the low to mid-30s, getting to the high 30s through
01:05southwestern parts of Queensland, I should say.
01:08A little bit cooler through inland southern areas
01:10in the high 20s, and mostly in the mid to high 20s
01:13for our coastal areas as well.
01:14A little bit cooler though in the southeast with those
01:16southeasterly winds.
01:18Brisbane looking to dry, partly cloudy day and 24 degrees.
01:22Moving down into New South Wales and high pressure,
01:25dominating the weather there.
01:26So dry and partly cloudy conditions pretty much
01:29statewide for many areas.
01:31Warming up though in the west with temperatures into the low
01:3330s there, mid to high 20s through southern and eastern areas.
01:38A little bit cooler though up around the northeast in onshore flow.
01:41Sydney looking at a lovely 25 degrees with lots of sunshine.
01:44Canberra also very warm and sunny with a few clouds in the afternoon
01:48and 25 degrees.
01:50Moving down into Victoria and another warm and windy one on the way
01:55for much of the state.
01:56Could see some showers moving into southwestern parts of the state
01:59later in the day, and maybe the chance of a storm out there as well.
02:03And then towards the evening hours, we're going to see showers and
02:05possible thunderstorms developing around northern areas as well.
02:08But if storms do develop, they will be isolated and quick moving.
02:13Temperatures in the mid to high 20s for much of the state get into
02:16the low 30s through northern parts with 33 up around Mildura.
02:20Melbourne looking at a cloudy, warm and breezy one.
02:2323 degrees with maybe a few showers moving in at night.
02:26Moving down into Tasmania and rain will be continuing across much
02:30of western parts.
02:31That will extend into central areas at times during the day and the
02:34north with just a few light showers through eastern areas during the
02:38afternoon and evening with conditions easing as we get into Wednesday night.
02:43Mild day generally in the mid to high teens through western and
02:46northern areas and into the low 20s through eastern parts of Tasmania
02:51as well.
02:51Possible shower or two about and 23 degrees in Hobart.
02:55Moving up into South Australia and it's going to be a tale of two halves
02:59through southern parts of the state.
03:01It's going to be cloudy, we're going to have showers, maybe some
03:04thunderstorms as well and maybe tending to rain through far western and
03:07south western parts of South Australia.
03:10While further north particularly ahead of the trough, we're going to see dry,
03:13hot and sunny conditions with temperatures in the mid to high 30s through
03:17northern areas, gusty winds and maybe even a chance of a bit of raised dust
03:21up there as well with those gusty conditions.
03:24So hot in the north, cooler, cloudy and breezy in the south with showers and
03:28patchy rain.
03:29Adelaide looking at a few showers and 24 degrees.
03:33Possible storms through southern parts of SA as well tomorrow.
03:36Moving into WA and we'll see another round of rain and thunderstorms through
03:41eastern areas in the afternoon and evening.
03:43Some of those could be severe and moving into South Australia during those
03:46afternoon hours.
03:47Well, we could see showers and lighter conditions like cloud and winds through
03:51southwestern parts of WA during the day as well.
03:55And temperatures on the cooler side as well.
03:56You know, getting to the high teens, I should say, through the southwest, low to
04:01mid 20s elsewhere across the south and getting up into the low 30s through
04:05northern areas as well.
04:06Generally below average temperatures for much of WA on Wednesday.
04:11Perth looking at a few showers and 19 degrees.
04:13And finally, moving up towards the Northern Territory and Northern Australia.
04:18We're going to see those easterly winds.
04:20Just bring some showers about exposed coast.
04:22Maybe a rumble or thunder or two as well with that as that instability is slowly increasing.
04:28Hot inland though.
04:29Temperatures in the high 30s through parts of the Kimberley and also the southern
04:33inland top end.
04:35Temperatures also warming up through central and southern NT as well with temperatures in
04:39the mid 30s there.
04:41You can see 35 at Alice Springs and 33 with a possible shower at Darwin while parts of
04:46the Kimberley also looking at hot and sunny conditions.
