ವಿಶ್ವವಿಖ್ಯಾತ ಮೈಸೂರು ದಸರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ-2026ರ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ದಸರಾ ಗಜಪಡೆ ಮಾವುತರು, ಕಾವಾಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಪಾಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿಟ್ ವಿತರಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಚಿವ ಯತೀಂದ್ರ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ತಡವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಘಟನೆ ಸೋಮವಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.ತಡವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಜಾಯಿಷಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಯತೀಂದ್ರ ಅವರು, ನಮ್ಮದು ಹೊಸ ಮನೆ, ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಪಿಲ್ಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು. ಸಾಮಾನು ಯಾವುದೂ ಬೇಗ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಲೇಟ್ ಆಯಿತು. ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲವೊಂದಿಷ್ಟು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಬರುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಡವಾಯಿತು. ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ತಡಮಾಡಿ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah arrived late to the breakfast and kit distribution programme organised for the mahouts and kavadis of the Dasara elephant squad ahead of the world-famous Mysuru Dasara Mahotsava 2026.
Explaining the delay, Yathindra Siddaramaiah said they had recently moved into a new house and their belongings were still scattered, making it difficult to find things quickly. He also said his mother and domestic workers were not at home, and he was delayed while making the necessary arrangements. He clarified that the delay was not intentional.
