Doro Pesch war schon immer Kämpferin, die leidenschaftlich für das steht, was sie ist: eine Pionierin und treibende Kraft für Heavy Metal. Als junges Mädchen nahm ihr Vater als LKW-Fahrer sie mit auf seine Touren und weckte so ihre Leidenschaft für das Reisen. Unterwegs zu sein, neue Dinge zu erleben; es ist ein Teil von Doros Leben, seit sie ein kleines Mädchen ist. Nachdem sie Anfang der 80er Jahre die Band WARLOCK gegründet hatte, sicherte sie sich einen Rekordvertrag und spielte Gigs und Touren mit Legenden wie Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Scorpions, Megadeth und W.A.S.P. Sie war die erste Frau, die das Monsters Of Rock Festival spielte und ist weiterhin eine Pionierin für Frauen in Metal. In den 14 Liedern feiert Doro ihre Karriere von Warlock bis heute und bietet auch Cover-Versionen von Künstlern, die sie inspiriert haben – darunter Iron Maiden, Dio und Accept.
