01:44There were earthquakes that struck Yemen and Djibouti, if I may say so, during the past hours.
01:50Yesterday, and I said yesterday, and today, three noticeable earthquakes and tremors struck the southern Red Sea Rift, specifically the
01:59Gulf of Aden Rift.
02:01I said yesterday, I had a 5.6, and yesterday, I had a 5.2, and today, the third and
02:10weakest earthquake among them, which measured three on the Richter scale, struck at around 5.30 this Tuesday morning.
02:26The epicenter of this earthquake was near the Gulf of Aden Rift, and its center is about 35 kilometers from
02:36the city of Aden in Yemen, and about 120 kilometers from the city of Ali al-Sayyid or Sabir.
02:48People in Djibouti might have felt it, as well as in Yemen, but these tremors and earthquakes that have struck
02:58over the past three days, most likely caused the transfer of seismic energy along the fault system.
03:05From the Gulf of Aden Fault to the Red Sea Fault, this means that some of our people in the
03:12Arab Republic of Egypt, though only a few, might feel some light and tremors.
