00:46And the truth is, is that if you look at the Cubs' offensive output the last couple of weeks, it's

00:52Now, some of that could be without Bregman.
00:55I mean, that definitely was the case for about a week and a half he didn't play.

01:00So I do think it'll be a low scoring game today.
01:03And while the Padres do have the big sticks and so do the Cubs in some way, I agree with
01:08you wholeheartedly.
01:09I think the Padres' bullpen is maybe the best in the postseason.
01:13Atlanta's is very close too.
01:14And the other thing that you would think with the Padres, Joe, is that this is not like the regular
01:18season.
01:18If they're even down a run or tied, they're still going to go to those arms at the back end
01:22of the bullpen.
01:23Seven, eight, nine.
01:25So I think look for a close game today.
01:28And that number, surprisingly today, seven and a half to me.

01:34I thought this would be one that would get to seven, maybe even six and a half.
01:39Like we've seen a couple of these other games.
01:42I think Atlanta closed at six, six and a half in that ballpark today.
01:47But the White Sox in Houston, let's be honest, there could be 23 runs scored in that game.
01:54But the Yankees are down to six and seven and a half seemed a little much here.

02:05And I don't see the Padres, you know, he might go three innings that that could be that could be

02:13So but the one thing I can tell you is Tatis and Machado have been very good against Boyd over

02:24I think if the Padres can play with a lead, the longer this game goes, you know, once we get
02:30past the fifth inning, I it's to me, it's it's not not good for the Cubs at all here.
02:37I do like the Padres early and often in this one.
02:41And but the pitching battles moving forward to Craig in a series.
02:46I mean, if you like the Padres tonight, you like them to win the series here and advance against the
02:51Cubs, because I don't think the pitching matchups get any better for either team moving forward.

02:58Normally, it is a season for their pitching, but this has not been one of those.
03:01But yeah, I do like the Padres in the series.
03:04This could be one of those that does go three.
03:06It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case, because I do think eventually I don't know which game, but
03:12this is one of those series where, unlike last year, I do believe one of the games will go over
03:17the total.
03:18I don't know which one, but there's just too much offense on these two sides to have three games that
03:23are suppressed, as you said, or low scoring.
03:25But I do think in the end, the home field is very big for San Diego.
03:29They play very well there.
03:29The crowd really gets into it.
03:32And, you know, honestly, like Wrigley, do the Cubs even dominate at Wrigley?
03:36It doesn't really feel like they do.
03:37I don't know that that really means a whole lot to them.
03:39But but I'll I'll say San Diego and they're the hottest team going in.
03:44So San Diego could win this series.
03:47San Diego could win the next series.
03:49I would not be surprised to see them just roll.
