Over the past five years, Renault has been exploring its 128-year history, reviving some of its iconic models in the form of one-offs. With these reboots, the brand is continuing to bring its heritage to life, ahead of the opening of the future Renault Collections museum in Flins in around fifteen months time, when the vehicles will be made accessible to the general public.
Following the R17 electric restomod x Ora Ïto concept car, and Renault 5 Diamant – an art car created in collaboration with Pierre Gonalons – this latest model is a reboot of the iconic Renault 8 Gordini.
A two-seater electric coupé with real character, Renault 8 Gordini Concept gives the legend a new look, with a design inspired by motorsports.
With its low, wide body, radical stance, electric powertrain, and 270 hp of power, it resembles a modern rally car in every way. Fusing heritage with contemporary edge, the clean lines of its “café racer inspired design bring the Gordini spirit to life.
Set to be unveiled on 24 September at the Renault Carwalk, Renault 8 Gordini Concept will then be displayed on the Renault stand at the Paris Motor Show, from 12 to 18 October 2026.
