When a CKD patient has been undergoing dialysis regularly, every day without dialysis can feel significant.

This is the story of a CKD patient from Odisha who had been undergoing dialysis once or twice every week for around two months before coming to Jeena Sikho HiiMS.

After admission and receiving care at HiiMS, the patient continued his health journey under supervision. What followed became an important milestone for the patient and his family.

During the one-month follow-up period after discharge, the patient reported that he did not require a single dialysis session.

For someone who had been receiving dialysis regularly, this was a notable change in his personal health journey.

Behind this story is not just a number or a report—it is a patient who travelled from Odisha, followed his care plan, and continued monitoring throughout his journey.

At HiiMS, we understand that every CKD patient is different, and outcomes can vary from person to person. Decisions regarding dialysis should always be made by the treating medical team based on the patient’s clinical condition and investigations.

🙏 We are grateful to the patient and family for sharing this journey with us.

A journey from Odisha, a challenging CKD phase, and a follow-up period that brought a meaningful change for the patient. 🌿
