00:04leading on from
00:04I was talking about afterlife and hell
00:08I've always been in love with the concept of hell
00:11and afterlives and mainly Christian
00:13half-lives but actually no Abrahamic
00:15one of my podcast episodes in the future
00:17is going to be about all the Abrahamic
00:20afterlives because I'm just interested in that kind of stuff
00:22Abrahamic is Islam
00:23Judaism, Christianity, Mandaism
00:26Samaritism
00:27those are the five main ones that I can think of
00:29with it on my head
00:30those are probably the only ones I cover
00:33but those are their old lives
00:34oh and Mormonism
00:36but that's basically Christianity
00:40anyways
00:42which has the worst hell in fiction
00:44oh this is all fiction in general
00:45the most terrifying depictions of hell
00:49that's where we're talking about today
00:50okay and understand this
00:52this video absolutely came out of nowhere
00:55this is a fan
00:55alright I'm just going to get it out of the way before I start
00:57I hate Hasbent Hotels
00:58summary of hell
00:59it's not a punishment
01:01it's just letting sinners run rampant
01:04doing their what they want to do
01:06it's just encouraging sinners
01:08that's why I think
01:11hmm Charlie's plan is flawed
01:12it won't work
01:13because
01:14it's not like hell in Inferno and Ultra Kill
01:16where it's a punishment
01:17they're actually physically getting tortured
01:19they're just getting encouraged to do the things that they
01:21did in the earth more and more
01:23so why would sinners in hell
01:25in Hasbent Hotels
01:26want to fucking leave
01:28why would they want to leave
01:30why would they leave their
01:31perfect paradise of
01:34sinful acts
01:38if Charlie's hell was
01:40Hasbent Hotels
01:41was set up in fucking
01:42Ultra Kill's hell
01:43so many sinners would be like
01:44yep fucking get me out of the fucking
01:47burning coffin that is heresy
01:48and the fucking
01:52I can't think of any of the other punishments now
01:55just play the
01:57and requested video
01:58on a recent one
01:59I think I did like the most toxic addictions
02:01and out of nowhere
02:02this became like the most
02:04brother
02:04I am aware that there's a certain tier list
02:07that has been pioneered by a certain commenter
02:10named Scorpion
02:11that normally dominates my comment section
02:14in terms of likes ratioing
02:15absolutely everything else
02:17but out of nowhere
02:18this guy was able to do it
02:20with the most terrifying depictions of hell in fiction
02:22and here's the thing bro
02:24that was actually such a banger idea
02:26because off the top of my head
02:27I think in whatever universe you're talking about
02:30how they decide to depict hell
02:32is one of the most
02:33I think one of the
02:34the most key ways
02:36that you can illustrate the world
02:38and world building inside of said verse
02:40like for example
02:41if you're doing a depiction of hell
02:43that is much more of a
02:44like a multiversal virus
02:46like a like
02:47like in a doom
02:48or is it something that is so cold
02:50and unfeeling
02:52like something like in the uh
02:54the berserk verse
02:55that it is nothing more than a representation
02:57a reflection of what humanity thinks it is
02:59or it's just goofy
03:01like whatever Vivzy Pop makes
03:03in this video
03:05I'm gonna be ranking them
03:05on how terrifying they are
03:07and um yeah
03:08that's gonna be the video
03:09if you like this
03:10and you want more content like this
03:11uh
03:11do what the last commenter did
03:13and go into the comment section
03:15and try to get the most liked comment
03:17out of everybody here
03:18and I will take a look at it
03:20please consider a like comment
03:20and subscribe
03:21hit the bell
03:21like how they stay notified
03:22we're trying to hit half a million
03:23before the end of the year
03:24that's gonna be tough
03:25I'm gonna be honest with you
03:26it is going to be tough
03:27but we already reached 300k
03:28that's more than I deserve
03:29and with all that out of the way
03:31let's get into it
03:32let's go
03:33the hell of verse
03:35from Vivzy Pop
03:36awful
03:37yeah
03:38it's not good
03:38like it's actually so bad
03:41it's so stupid
03:42it's so dumb
03:43it's literally just New Jersey
03:45I'm not even crazy bro
03:46it's just Philadelphia
03:48it like
03:49like brother
03:49hell in the Vivzy Pop verse
03:51is literally just like
03:52yeah
03:53I mean like
03:54you have free will
03:56you can like
03:57it's not even like that bad
03:58like oh yeah
03:59well there's evil people here
04:00it's like brother
04:00big whoop
04:01it's like they're all here together
04:03and I understand
04:04like where's he's trying to go
04:05like he's trying to say
04:06that like
04:07oh well
04:07hell in this verse
04:09it's all relegated to the pride ring
04:10and it's the pride of humanity
04:12and their free will
04:13that makes it a reflection
04:14and that actually
04:15hell can be a good place
04:16if people were just good to each other
04:18and here's the problem bro
04:19there are so many other verses
04:21that do that same stick
04:23and do it way better
04:25okay
04:25like this is the problem that I have
04:26you're gonna do the seven rings thing
04:28you're gonna do the Dante's Inferno
04:30and we'll cover Dante's Inferno
04:32in a second
04:32because I will give respect
04:33where respect is due
04:34but you're gonna do the entirety
04:36of the Dante's Inferno ring
04:37but you're gonna relegate
04:39like all human sinners
04:40to just
04:42to just the pride ring
04:44that's dumb
04:45I don't really like that
04:46I think that's really dumb world building
04:48I really don't
04:49and if you really like
04:50want me to be like
04:51like a stickler for it
04:52if you're gonna do the Dante's Inferno thing
04:54and that hell is kind of like
04:55a cone safe
04:56and that you have
04:57boom boom boom boom
04:59and that pride is at the very bottom
05:01okay like pride is gonna be at the very bottom
05:03why can you see heaven from the pride ring
05:05what's the actual point of that
05:07and instead it's more treated like
05:09oh yeah
05:09there's these different like
05:11like sectors or rings
05:13of different sins
05:15but only sinners
05:16sinners are only allowed inside of the pride
05:18that's dumb to me
05:19but here's the thing
05:20this is where
05:21but that is just
05:22that
05:23I know exactly how that exists
05:24that wall
05:25where sinners aren't allowed to go
05:26to the other rings
05:28is literally the
05:29Amazon Prime Wall
05:30that's the wall that separates
05:31Hasbin
05:32with Hell of a Boss
05:33it's just the Amazon Prime Wall
05:35it's the
05:35Prime Wall
05:36it's the Amazon Prime Wall
05:37it's the wall
05:37that separates the two
05:39because money
05:40it comes to my favoritism
05:42I
05:42if we're going through these
05:44Depixions
05:44I like the Depixions
05:45where each sector
05:47or each ring
05:47is specifically made
05:49for a specific type of sinner
05:50that ends up there
05:51like for example
05:53if it's like a minor thing
05:55you're gonna be
05:55and you're not gonna be
05:56in like straight up hell
05:57you're gonna end up
05:58in like oh my goodness
05:59I'm blanking out
05:59Limbo
06:00Limbo
06:00there's Dante's Inferno
06:01um
06:02oh
06:03you would end up in Purgatory
06:05which is like this misty area
06:06and that's meant to be
06:07a representation
06:08that
06:08oh you idiot
06:09he got it wrong
06:10he got it wrong
06:14he said Purgatory's a misty area
06:16it's Limbo you dickhead
06:18oh sorry
06:19you fucking dickhead
06:20you're not fucking wrong
06:23Purgatory's a mountain
06:24the misty place
06:25Limbo
06:25get
06:25get
07:00I can't disappoint you
07:01I can't disappoint you
07:02I can't disappoint you
07:05you live blind
07:07and you never really
07:08ended up anywhere cleanly
07:09and I think
07:11that's way more interesting
07:13instead of
07:14oh yeah
07:14all of my quirky OCs
07:16are just going to be
07:17in the pride ring
07:18because they're quirky
07:19I don't like that
07:20I don't
07:21I think that's
07:22I think that's lazy
07:23I think it's lazy writing
07:24I'm gonna put it in stupid
07:26respectfully
07:27but the musical numbers
07:28do carry um
07:29hell of a boss
07:30and they carry
07:31everything else
07:31so I'm rating it
07:33just for laughs
07:34but I'm gonna put it
07:35in stupid
07:36supernatural
07:37okay
07:38this is my problem
07:40they do
07:41I might just go
07:42I don't know
07:42it was just
07:43it was the first day
07:43back from work
07:44so I'm just gonna
07:44go to Taylor
07:45I'll be back
08:21I don't know
08:24it's working now
08:24hold the mic for a second
08:25no because it's whispering
08:26everything and nothing
08:27at the same time
08:28Never watch supernatural critique of supernatural is that they went on for so long that they literally ran out of
08:35mythologies
08:36I need you to understand this bro. James and Dean
08:40Unironically have a rogues gallery better than 99% of fiction
08:45These guys took on literal God these guys took on the Dark Lord
08:51Archangel Michael
08:53Every mythology that ever exists Loki Thor they were able to win every single battle
09:00They've had brother. They took on Cthulhu and survived
09:05Okay, and this is another problem that I have I can't even do that to our
09:11Inside of supernatural, okay, let's go there and this is the problem that I have
09:15So they're there and the one thing that I do like I'm gonna give her I'll give them credit for
09:19is they do the time
09:21dilation thing they do the time thing we're like, um, um, like a
09:25Three like one second on earth is actually three months in hell and they do that thing
09:30So like Sam is Sam and Dean are actually like hundreds of years old in their soul
09:35But their bodies keep on getting resurrected and they start off where they were last
09:39Okay, like that I think it's kind of a cool premise and that kind of bill it does a little
09:43bit of your world building for you
09:45And that it is a my add that to my help
09:47I'm gonna make like the gods creation in time
09:49My story that's why time doesn't really operate under the same presect and we'll cut we'll cover that again in
09:54like the doom verse
09:56But this is the problem that I have with it. Both of them went through literal decades to centuries of
10:03suffering through hell
10:04And they're just perfectly fine psychologically. Yeah, like they're just perfectly fine
10:09I know there's a whole plot point of like sam actually his soul is in tatters and i'm like
10:14Yeah, bro. We had like a few episode plot point of that and then he was relatively fine
10:18Like you see the point the problem that I have it's like
10:21They go like it's so bad. We can barely describe it
10:24And then it proceeds to be like we're gonna describe it a little bit and it's like caves and I
10:30I don't know bro
10:31I don't know. I put it in. It's meh. It's meh. Did this video come out enough for it to
10:36be invincible?
10:37Oh
10:38What is he talking about the black farm ultra kill inferno doom trench another berserk war?
10:44Yeah, I can I don't talk about he's not really invincible
10:47It's bad 100% but it lacks that sauce it laughs lacks that creativity and it's just bad place
10:55Torches
10:56That's what it feels like to me and caves and a lot of caves and there's
11:01A demon named alistair also
11:04I'm gonna put him in meh the black farm
11:07I will eventually do a black farm video, but I gotta do doom first
11:11I promise so many lore videos but doom has to come first
11:14Um for anyone who doesn't know what the black farm is so the black farm is a
11:18Book universe created by creepypasta author
11:21Elias with the row and actually a published author. I don't want to undercut him like that
11:25Elias with the row has written, um, tommy taffy
11:28Um, otherwise known as the third parrot
11:30Um, the black farm
11:32Uh, a full return to the black farm and feed the pig feed the pig black farm and return to
11:39the black farm is the full three-part series
11:41Okay, you can read the first part for free on I think it's r slash scary stories
11:46And it's feed the pig feed the pig is the first one. Um, crepe cast did an amazing episode on
11:51it
11:51Um, that's what was my introduction. Um, watch that if you want to get into the story
11:55And basically what it is is that in this universe there is heaven and there is hell and then there's
12:00the human plane
12:01But there's one other place and that is the black farm at the beginning of all of creation
12:06There was heaven you had the you had the whole rebellion
12:09Um between between um the devil and all of his angels and then they got cast down and they created
12:13their domain
12:13But one problem that they ran into is that because free will and humanity were going hand in hand and
12:20humanity was practicing free will
12:21All of the bad guy and the sinners go to hell, but all the good people with given free will
12:25decided to be good
12:26They would go to heaven
12:27But the one place that they didn't know where to put were the people that um, I don't know how
12:33i'm gonna say this
12:33That um, did minecraft save quitting the people that minecraft save quit
12:40Ah, uh, that's the third, actually why am I going to my book here? I know exactly where it's from
12:46It's the third section of violence, no, the second section of violence
12:48Get the map, get the map, get the map, get the map
12:52Same with obstacles, 7-7-3 is that level, is for those people
12:57Inferno
12:57Do do do do do do, let me get the map up real quick
13:00Uh, map map map map map
13:10Uh, tsh tsh tsh
13:12Alright, so we got
13:15Violence right here
13:16And then the second one, I'll read it, it says, violence against itself.
13:30They didn't know where to puss them, because on one side, they took the gift of free will, and they
13:35used it on themselves, basically disregarding the gift of life.
13:39But they don't firmly fit into the sinner placeholder, so they have to go somewhere, but not to heaven.
13:44Because they don't want people just cheating their way up there.
13:47So they created another domain, or another being did, otherwise known as the pig.
13:53The pig created this other domain known as the black farm.
13:56The black farm is where all of the souls go of people that did Minecraft save quit.
14:02They all go there, and they are given basically a little orientation once they get there.
14:06They're held in a room, they're chained up to the wall, and they're told by a man that I imagine
14:11sounds like Matthew McConaughey.
14:13And he goes in and basically says, yo, so you messed up, you took free will for granted, and you're
14:21going to have to feed the pig, or you're going to be living in the black farm.
14:24Okay, the black farm is filled with these pig creatures that are kind of made in the image of you,
14:29but like way, way worse, because the pig envies God, and he can't quite do what he can do.
14:34So it's a bunch of pig demons walking around all over the place.
14:37Or, if you don't want to live here for all of eternity, you can try your chances with the pig.
14:42You go up to the pig, you feed yourself to the pig, and then the pig decides where you go.
14:46You either go back to Earth if you are a good person, and you go back to Hell if you're
14:51a bad person.
14:52In the story, it says, well, if he thinks you taste good, you go up to Earth, if you taste
14:56bad, you go to Hell.
14:57But, it's like heavily inferred in the book that it's actually meant to be like a moral judgment of like
15:04how good you were as a person, whether you get a second chance or not.
15:08So, those are your chances.
15:09Oh, well, I mean, what if I want to stay in the black farm?
15:11Do not stay in the black farm.
15:13Absolutely do not stay in the black farm.
15:14I cannot preface that enough, and it's not because, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, how bad is it, brother?
15:19I literally, like, I can explain it in a few different ways.
15:23They have a place called the Needlefields where they hang a bunch of people inside of the Needlefields, and it's
15:28like bamboo growing out your entire body as you go higher and higher into the sky.
15:33And, hopefully, you somehow pass during that happening, and then you literally fall from the sky from an umbilical cord,
15:42and then you get picked up again by a pig demon named Muck.
15:46And, Muck is awful.
15:49And, Muck is going to do you very, very dirty, and he'll probably turn you into a pet or something
15:53even worse than a pet.
15:55So, I'm going to be real here, bro.
15:57Feed the pig.
15:58The sweet pig.
15:58I'm kind of a slave.
15:59Okay?
16:00Um, very, very scary.
16:02Very scary.
16:02Like, bordering on terrifying.
16:04The only reason is that you're never outright sown what hell is like inside of, um, of this universe.
16:11You are sown heaven.
16:12You do get to see how heaven works.
16:14And, heaven works in a really cool way that I don't want to spoil unless I do, like, a lore
16:18video on it because it is near the end of Return, um, of, uh, Return to the Black Farm.
16:23But, what I will say is that it does work in a really cool way.
16:27And, and they do time dilation, but they do time dilation in a really cool way, though, that I don't
16:32really want to spoil.
16:33But, you never outright see hell.
16:35But, um, yeah, hell's also, like, really bad.
16:38There's, like, these, like, demons look really cool.
16:40They're, like, they're, like, a goat skull on, like, a skinned man's body.
16:44Like, it looks so cool!
16:46But, I'm gonna put it in very scary.
16:48I've seen someone so passionate about something.
16:50It messed me up, bro.
16:51I gotta put it right there.
16:52No question.
16:53Hell in Ultra Kill.
16:54Dang.
16:55Dude.
16:56Y'all were not kidding, dude.
16:58I thought Doom lore went hard, bro.
16:59Ultra Kill Hell lore kinda goes hard.
17:02So, let me explain this to you.
17:03So, inside of the world of Ultra Kill, hell is filled up, and, um, they, there's not enough spaces left.
17:10So, a lot of the, uh, the undead are going onto Earth, and you are one of the last things
17:15to do that is technically existing.
17:17And you are a warp, uh, robot that is fueled by a certain red, fueled by blood.
17:21There's just no other way to say that.
17:23So, you go in the hell to slay demons, or slay other things.
17:27And you go in and you're absolutely icing them.
17:30And you think to yourself, oh, yeah, I'm basically Doom guy, taking on the endless horde so I can finally
17:35take on the devil.
17:36Yeah, that's not what's going on.
17:38So, hell is not a place as much as it is a person.
17:41Hell is the domain.
17:44But hell, the person, is also the domain.
17:47And when you're going through the different layers, you are essentially competing for its very entertainment.
17:52Every single time a demon is summoned for you to do battle with, it is summoned there so hell can
17:59witness the battle.
18:01It loves the battle.
18:03It locks doors in front and behind you so you have no choice but to engage in battle.
18:07And you are nothing more than entertainment for the rider domain of hell.
18:11And the only reason that you are still alive is because you give him entertainment.
18:17Compare that with, like, a Doom Slayer.
18:19And Doom Slayer is essentially a multiversal demigod level figure.
18:22And that all the demons are terrified of him.
18:25But inside of this verse, it's nothing more than entertainment for hell itself.
18:29Um, scary.
18:31Scary.
18:32Very cool concept.
18:33Very different.
18:34I have to give it some respect.
18:36Does it unsettle me as much?
18:38No.
18:38It's just so metal that it's dope.
18:40So I'm going to put it in scary.
18:42I think that's a fair one.
18:44Dante's Inferno.
18:46Okay.
18:47Ultra Kill.
18:48Um, the Divine Comedy, Dante's Inferno, is one of the most influential pieces of...
18:54How do I say this?
18:55Because Dante's Inferno is not a religious book.
18:59It is not even really a pseudo-religious book.
19:01It is not even, like, a Book of Enoch, which is, like, biblical DLC that's, like, not canon.
19:07It literally is biblical fan fiction.
19:10Yep.
19:10I'm sorry, but somebody has to tell you this.
19:12The reason why the Catholic Church did not like Dante's Inferno, and they slandered the
19:18original person, oh, well, the person that wrote it was, like, a Satanist.
19:21No, he wasn't.
19:21He was a comedian.
19:23That's not a joke.
19:24He was, like, a playwright and a comedian.
19:25Why do you think it's called Divine Comedy?
19:28Not even a joke.
19:29One of the funnier pieces, like, one of the funnier pieces of literature that you can, like, read
19:33into.
19:34If you go into it thinking that it's meant to be serious.
19:37There are multiple points in the novel where he endlessly glazes Italy.
19:42He just goes so hard on it.
19:44I forgot about that.
19:44It's the single greatest place to ever live.
19:46Brother, I need you to, and also, I need this to be saying it again.
19:50Dante's Inferno got heat at the time because he said that all of the popes go to hell regardless,
19:55and they do a human centipede in one of the layers of hell.
19:59One thing that I do think that's pretty cool.
20:00What layer was that?
20:01It has to be four, right?
20:03It's cool is that they were the ones that started the whole seven layers, and, like, seven,
20:06like, seven is a pretty, like, prominent number.
20:09It's not the seven layers, so it's nine.
20:10The seven layers of hell thing, um, yeah, that was very much pioneered.
20:16Ben knows nothing, bro.
20:18He knows nothing.
20:19He's such an idiot.
20:20It's not seven.
20:22Ibzy Pop took seven because she was taking the seven deadly sins.
20:25Did the layers.
20:26Ultra Kill has only got seven.
20:28Well, no, it doesn't.
20:29You only think Ultra Kill has seven because it only has seven right now.
20:32It's going to have nine.
20:33Just, like, fucking Inferno.
20:35Good.
20:36By Dante's Inferno.
20:37It's nothing more than, like, biblical fan fiction.
20:39And he got so much heat for it because he was just roasting the Catholic church over
20:44and over that they were like, oh, yeah, bro, he must.
20:46He's a demon.
20:47Don't take anything he's saying seriously.
20:49Don't try to, like, go on, like, the commentary on it.
20:52Like, don't look into any of there.
20:55So, like, that's how I look at it.
20:57I look at it from the point of view of, like, it's a very, like, influential piece.
21:01I like that they, like, there's some certain ideas that, like, other later pieces of fiction,
21:05like, also pioneered on top of it.
21:08But I'm going to put it on, you got to put it in a, you got to put it in
21:11a top tier.
21:12You got to.
21:13You got to put it in a top tier to give it the respect that it deserves as, like, a
21:17piece
21:17of literature, bro.
21:18I'm sorry.
21:18There's no other way that you can cut that.
21:20I put it in a terrifying, I think that's a fair placement.
21:24Dante's Inferno explained a video in 12 minutes, maybe?
21:27It would be 12 minutes.
21:28I'm sorry.
21:29I'm not Wendigo.
21:30Wendigo can do a three-hour breakdown on a novel that, like, unironically has, like,
21:34a runtime of two hours.
21:35And I mean that with respect.
21:37You could do the entirety of Divine Comedy.
21:39Oh my goodness.
21:39Dante's Inferno does not have that much meat on the bone.
21:42But it does have really cool illustrations that were done after the fact.
21:46The Doomverse.
21:47You could definitely do the entirety of Divine Comedy.
21:56It does have really cool illustrations that were done after the fact.
22:02The Doomverse.
22:03Woo!
22:04I get to tell you Doom lore before the Doom lore video.
22:07Consider this a trailer for the upcoming video.
22:09That is the 300k special, by the way.
22:11I literally went to the hospital as I was working on it.
22:14But we are back.
22:15So, how hell works in the Doomverse.
22:17It is the original realm created by Devoth, otherwise known.
22:21And his original name is Jakkad.
22:23Jakkad was the original realm made on a different dimensional timescale.
22:27So, time does not work the same on hell.
22:29No, time doesn't work the same on Jakkad or slash hell as it does in any other dimension.
22:35Because, not because it's like a black hole or like a string theory type of thing.
22:38Or like, theory of relatively, like, Einstein type of stuff.
22:42No, no, no.
22:42It's literally using a different time axis than any other realm.
22:47Because all the other realms were created after the fact.
22:50So, Devoth...
22:50And that's how I think...
22:52I'm not very in-depth in the entire Doom lore.
22:54But I think that's how Doomguy was able to go down to hell and stay in hell in 64.
23:01And able to come...
23:02Like, not like, year 64.
23:04I was in, like, Doom 64.
23:05And come out in...
23:07As the Doom Slayer in Doom.
23:09Devoth was trying to create different types of beings.
23:12But the problem that he ran into is that he wanted his beings to live on forever so they could
23:17serve him forever.
23:18Eternal slavery is what somebody else would say.
23:21Okay, so he created a being that could help him.
23:23Somebody that was basically like the ChatGPT.
23:26Like, he literally created a super intelligence to help him and keep track of notes.
23:30And, like, stats and statistics.
23:32So he could try to make, like, eternal life.
23:35And that was the father, Urvega.
23:38Yep.
23:38The father was like, yeah, bro, no, you are way too edgy.
23:42I really find the classic Doomguy, unsproudingly.
23:44So he took...
23:45Went up to him, took out his life sphere, and then casted him into...
23:48I forgot...
23:49I'm...
23:49The name is...
23:51The name is missing me.
23:52But it's one of the realms that can hold a life sphere of a divine being.
23:55I don't know.
23:56I think it is.
23:57The father went on to create the makers.
23:58And then he went on to create the realms of man or the mortal realms.
24:02So you have Hell or Jakkad down here.
24:04You have the makers up here.
24:06And then you have the mortal realms, which is essentially like a multiverse.
24:10But this is what happened.
24:11The anger from the life sphere, the anger of Devoth,
24:15became so powerful that it started corrupting the realms like Jakkad.
24:19And Jakkad fell and got corrupted and turned into Hell.
24:21And then now Hell is taking on all these other mortal realms
24:25and harvesting them into soul energy.
24:28And this soul energy...
24:29Pretty much what Hell is trying to do in Purgatoria and Ultra...
24:33In Project Purgatoria.
24:35It's using machines that's gathered in Hell.
24:39Hell and moving them to Purgatory to spread its influence.
24:41That's what it's using the unfortunate development for.
24:43It's just the liquefied suffering of old, like, intelligent life inside of the mortal realms.
24:48And then the father came in and was like, wait, this is how we make Argent energy.
24:52So he would go to this planet that was called, like, Argent Denair.
24:56And it is the home of the Night Sentinels, the home planet.
25:00And they have something called the Night Race.
25:02And they go up to the Night Race.
25:03They take some of their energy.
25:04And they combine it with soul energy that is just liquefied soul gasoline.
25:09They combine it.
25:10And then they're going to get Argent energy.
25:12And Argent energy is how they are able to live on forever.
25:16And the makers cannot reproduce like normal.
25:19They literally have to maintain their bodies through Argent energy.
25:23Also, this entire time that this is going on,
25:25Father took out his own life sphere so he could kind of have balance in the multiverse.
25:30So you have the father, you have Devoth, and then you have the Doom Slayer walking around.
25:34And that is some Doom lore for you before I actually make the Doom lore video.
25:40Inside of the Doomverse, hell is both a place,
25:43but it is also a realm of influence that takes on all of the mortal realms
25:46and converts them into soul energy.
25:49Every single demon that you take on was either an alien,
25:52an other dimensional being that got corrupted by the anger of Devoth
25:55and thus turned into a demon.
25:58I'm sorry, bro.
25:59That's dope.
26:00Love it.
26:01Very scary.
26:03Terrifying.
26:03Dope.
26:04Gotta put it there.
26:05Trens Crusade.
26:06Trens Crusade takes place in a world
26:08where in the last crusade some Catholics went into the basement of the Holy Land
26:13and accidentally opened up a demonic artifact that opens up the gates of hell.
26:17And the gates of hell opened up
26:19and there was a whole demonic horde waiting right there
26:22and they crossed in over and it was absolutely no bueno.
26:25They go in, they absolutely conquer the entirety of Old Jerusalem
26:28and then the demonic war of Trens Crusade begins anew
26:32and all of the Abrahamic faves kind of more or less kind of teamed up
26:36to take on the demons of Trens Crusade.
26:38That's what I like.
26:38Now, this is where things get kind of interesting.
26:41The only people that can go into the domain of hell within Trens Crusade
26:46are like basically the primarchs of the Trens Crusade verse.
26:50And those are, I'm not kidding, genetically engineered clones of Jesus.
26:57Yes, there are multiple different Jesuses.
27:02The plural of Jesus.
27:04Multiple different forms of Jesus inside of the IP or the universe of Trens Crusade.
27:10And those are the only ones that can go inside of hell inside of this verse.
27:14And that's meant to call in that like when Jesus like originally died there
27:18in some biblical literature, it says he went down to hell,
27:21went down to hell, grabbed all of the sick.
27:24Actually went down to Linvah, which you don't think exist, don't know.
27:26...that existed before his coming and then dragged them up into heaven.
27:31And that is meant to be a play on there that that's why he's the only one that can go
27:35in.
27:36And that is so metal, by the way.
27:39That's so metal.
27:40Also, you have the different types of demons.
27:42There's like different types of like, there's rules that they have to agree to
27:46that like Asmodeus, all these different type of demonic lords
27:50can't actually leave the domain of hell.
27:53Otherwise, angels can come out of heaven.
27:55So that's why there's like this bitter stalemate going on.
27:58And I think the coolest aspect of it is that there's different ways that they can get around it.
28:03Like, for example, the most powerful demonic lord within the universe of Trens Crusade right now
28:09is Beelzebub, because Beelzebub is the demon of plague.
28:13So he will start plagues like the Tainted Grail and then send that into the Trenses.
28:17And that is the way that he can build an influence.
28:20And it's kind of like Nurgle from Warhammer.
28:23I'm nerding out right now.
28:24I'm terrifying.
28:25Love it.
28:26So good.
28:28The Nether.
28:29The Nether.
28:30The Nether.
28:30Okay, bro.
28:31I'm sorry.
28:31I was doing my best Jack Black.
28:33Oh, my goodness.
28:34My nose is so itchy.
28:37What was I saying?
28:38Oh, yeah.
28:38The Nether.
28:39Okay.
28:39This is my thing about The Nether.
28:41It's kind of funny, but at the same time, kind of lazy.
28:45I don't know what to tell you, bro.
28:46Like, I guess you could get into like Minecraft lore.
28:51And Minecraft lore is something that I hope I never have to cover on this channel,
28:55if I'm just being honest with you, my man.
28:56But, like, it is kind of fun.
28:58Like, I was playing Minecraft with my little brother a few days ago.
29:00And my mom was watching.
29:01And I was like, oh, yeah, my mom, there's like hell in Minecraft.
29:04What?
29:05What do you mean?
29:06And then we built a Nether portal.
29:07And then she was like, what is going on?
29:10What's in the games now?
29:12And I'm like, mom, I've been playing this ever since I was in fourth grade.
29:14Like, this has been around forever.
29:16And I kind of like, it's like, you got your zombie pigmen.
29:19You got your ghast.
29:21It's like all around.
29:22Like, there's Netherite 2 here and there.
29:24There's a bunch of gold.
29:25Or, like, if you're a SkyDoesMinecraft type of person,
29:29booters, some booteringuts.
29:31Bro, I'm an unk.
29:33I am an unk right now, my man.
29:35Here's the thing, dude.
29:35I put it in meh.
29:36It's fine, I guess.
29:38It's not as dumb as, like, the Vivzy Pop, like, OC Hellverse.
29:42But it's also, like, I put it in meh.
29:44It's pretty dope.
29:44It's pretty dope.
29:45It's not trying to be anything, really.
29:46Hell inside of the Berserkverse.
29:49This is kind of interesting.
29:51So, okay.
29:51So, the devil inside of, or no, the devil or even, like, God, technically, inside of the
29:57universe of Berserk is something called the idea of evil.
29:59The idea of evil is kind of like a thought form from, um, Greylock.
30:04Or kind of like a, uh, I'm trying to think of it.
30:06Somebody's going to bring it up in the comment section.
30:08What's something that doesn't exist unless a lot of people believe in it?
30:12And it's, like, this idea that humanity's, like, combined psionic beliefs together can
30:17create an entity out of thin air.
30:19That is essentially the idea of evil.
30:21The idea of evil is the combined idea of what humanity's, like, free will will bring.
30:27And that creates the idea of evil and thus a conscious entity that is evil.
30:32And what is the most evil thing that the idea, or the devil can do, like, what is something
30:39that the devil could do to make the most evil person possible?
30:43He goes up to somebody and says, do what thou wilt.
30:47And I will give you infinite power to be able to do it.
30:49And thus is the ultimate, like, personification of free will.
30:54He offers this to Griffith, and Griffith is ultimately the person, no, the guy that chose
30:59to do everything because that was him exercising his most pure free will.
31:03Now, if you go into, like, how hell is, it's more or less, like, an endless, like, cycle
31:09going down to a singular point that is, like, life and soul energy going throughout the heart.
31:14That is the idea of evil, which is what it personifies as.
31:17And I think that's such a metal idea that, like, all of the most evil things ever done,
31:22almost evil souls all come together as, like, nothing more than just this energy that fuels
31:28something even more evil.
31:29But it's like an ever-feeding, like, cycle kind of builds into, like, that.
31:33Like, the idea of cycles inside of the Berserk verse ultimately is a reflection of what God
31:39or the devil is inside of this verse because it all renders down to one singular point.
31:44And that can also be a reflection of how destiny and fate works.
31:47It's so dope.
31:48I'm gonna be real here.
31:50I'm gonna put it in terrifying.
31:51It is.
31:52Like, like, it's, it's, it's basic.
31:54Don't get me wrong.
31:54It is very, it's basic.
31:55But at the same time, there's just something so cold and unfeeling that it's like, oh,
32:00yeah, all it really is is a reflection of what humanity is.
32:03Well, why is it so evil?
32:04Because humanity is evil.
32:06Like, I'm sorry.
32:08Like, that, that is terrifying.
32:09The warp from Warhammer.
32:12Okay.
32:12I'm doing two back-to-back that are kind of similar, but one of these is more effective,
32:17in my opinion, for one, for one very simple reason.
32:20So, the warp is essentially a psionic dimension that exists on the same area as we do, but
32:28on a different dimensional plane.
32:30Very similar to slip space.
32:31It is essentially, like, all of, like, the anger, all of the strong emotions that is felt
32:37like, humanity has, like, strong psionic force, which is why all of the chaos gods are evil.
32:42Because we more or less created the chaos gods off us kind of being evil, and that's why
32:47all the chaos gods are, like, in a way, a reflection of us, except for Slanes, and Slanes is more
32:53of a representation of the Eldar and the debauchery of the Eldar.
32:57A lot of lore is going on right now in this video.
33:00You need to play Wilhelmoth, Spice Marine.
33:01I'll be getting longer in there.
33:02But I like that it's a reflection of humanity, and it exists on the same, like, like, the
33:07area as we do, but in a different dimensional plane.
33:10I think that's kind of a cool idea, but ultimately, bro, it doesn't work as much for me as something
33:17else that's on this list.
33:18I wish I could do it more justice, but ultimately, it just...
33:23Oh, okay, okay, let me say this, let me say this.
33:25I'm putting it in scary, in the same level as, like, an ultra kill, but the one thing that
33:30I really do like about it is that they use it for space travel.
33:34Yeah.
33:34I think that is the most metal thing I've ever heard, is that whole hyperspaces is literally
33:40us taking a whole punster through hell, and every once in a while, we lose a sip in hell.
33:45I think that's one of the most sci-fi elements of all time.
33:49However, there's one more that in that same vein I'm going to bring up, Event Horizon.
33:55Oh, dude, Event Horizon is a movie that was made way...
33:59I just, I thought, came to my head, like, there's two Doom movies, there's the Doom movie
34:04starring in the Rock, and there's some other one, I don't remember what it was called, but
34:06for some reason, both of them, they had the demons, right?
34:11They weren't.
34:12They weren't demons, they were just aliens.
34:13Why would you fucking do that?
34:15That's dumb.
34:17Way too soon.
34:19That's a character in the Rock.
34:21There's a character in the Rock's Doom called Pinky.
34:25Hmm, I wonder what's going to happen to him.
34:27Hmm, does he get turned into a Pinky?
34:29Yep.
34:29If it were made today, it would do such crazy numbers, because the premise of a sip that
34:36went missing, they actually made a hyperspeed core that when it punts through reality, it
34:43passed through a different reality.
34:44And they think it's, like, something, like, theoretical that even, like, Einstein maybe
34:48thought of, but it's actually something darker than that.
34:50And it's actually hell itself, but that dimension corrupts all things, even the sip, and causes
34:56the sip to be almost like a pseudo-haunted.
34:59Interesting how it says sip inside a ship.
35:02And it's constantly pulling things back into this verse, including the sip itself.
35:08And this is why it's more effective in my eyes.
35:11It's so much more in, like, an unknown way.
35:15Like, it doesn't outright explain how it works to you, but it's just enough to bother you.
35:20I think when we're talking about horror, and, like, a good way to make your horror land,
35:24we have, like, a few creepypasta authors, so I'm sorry if I ever go into, like, literary
35:29mode on you.
35:31But, like, the thing that is the enemy of horror is explanation.
35:35If you put words into describing something, you automatically limit the amount of fear that
35:41somebody can feel from it, because they can assign words and meaning to something.
35:45I'm not saying you should be super, like, hilariously vague in how you explain things, but the thing
35:50that Event Horizon does very well is it explains enough to you, and it respects your imagination
35:56to fill in the blanks and make it even scarier.
35:59It's not that it, like, other stuff thinks you're dumb, but it actually, okay.
36:05When you're looking at media that hyper-explains hell or scary things, it's not that it thinks
36:11the reader or the audience is dumb.
36:13It just thinks its ideas are better than any idea that you can come up with.
36:18Like, for example, if I'm writing something that is, like, a different dimension or a creature
36:23or, like, something like that, like, a more of an abstract idea, I don't want to explain
36:28it because I know that I couldn't come up with the most terrifying concept possible, and I
36:35would rather you, throughout, like, your own brain just give you the dots to fill in the
36:40blank.
36:40Like, the true horror that really exists, like, inside of, like, narrative, cinema, like,
36:46like, literature is always in the gaps in between logic.
36:52I think that is where Event Horizon really does work for me, is that the horror lies within
36:57the gaps.
36:58And that, to me, that works the most best.
37:01Like, I don't need you to hyper-explain everything to me.
37:03Not because I think I can figure it out, but because it's scarier if you let your audience
37:09try to figure it out.
37:10Because they might come up with something more terrifying than even you can come up with.
37:14Because your audience knows what scares them.
37:18Okay?
37:19That's really what I wanted to say.
37:20But Event Horizon goes in terrifying, no question.
37:23And there you go.
37:23Those are the most terrifying depictions of hell in fiction.
