00:21You know, having lived in a world that's been dominated by social media this last decade,
00:27I've seen the effect that it's had on the truth, I've seen the effect that it's had on people
00:33really taking very, very strong points of view, very strong positions on things about people they've
00:38never met. I've seen, I've experienced how one-sided stories can dominate the conversation,
00:45and I've seen grace deteriorate. And all of those things exist in this story. All of these things
00:54are at the heart of it. So I thought, if I'm interested in these things, I'm sure other
00:57people will be interested in them as well. And then you kind of say, and that's, by the way,
01:01that's like the underlayer of what is also like a really, I don't know, twisty, sexy, fun,
01:11erotic thriller. I don't know, it just seemed like a great package to me. The thing that I think is
01:15very interesting about the movie is there was certainty throughout the movie about who Verity
01:22was. And then only after something happens, which is irreversible, does questioning that
01:30certainty come in, whereas it should have always been reversed.
