00:16You could say, as most people do, Grant Taylor.
00:18It's bookends.
00:19Because he came in and he shut down the Astros.
00:24Grant Taylor was your, to say closer,
00:28he pitched two and a third.
00:30He struck out five.
00:32He was dominant.
00:33And I know that that left the deepest impression.
00:37And Grant Taylor was great.
00:38But I think that the way that Hagan Smith approached the Astros early,
00:43he came after them.
00:45He attacked.
00:46And he also allowed the Sox to get settled in.
00:50That first inning was so important for a young team to feel the vibe,
00:54to adjust to the intensity.
00:56And you know what?
00:56He was unfazed.
00:57And I think that you could make the argument Hagan Smith meant as much to
01:01that outcome as Grant Taylor did.
01:04You wouldn't be wrong either way.
01:05I'd flip sides, though.
01:06I just think of where the game was.
01:08I agree with you on the point of getting the team settled in,
01:11going through top of the order.
01:13But what Grant Taylor did, there was a lot of motion going on at that time.
01:17And being able to lock things down, to me,
01:21that's when things were getting a little hairy here.
01:24And they found a way for Grant Taylor to come in and really lock things down.
