00:00The woman's gesture of touching her ear caught the criminal's attention.
00:03The man was the top-level criminal Jackie Chan had been tracking for 30 years.
00:07Jackie quickly signaled the surveillance operator to stop moving the camera.
00:10Even the slightest shift could alert the suspect.
00:13Lisa followed the criminal into the elevator.
00:15Jackie instructed her to press the button for the top floor.
00:18That way, they could identify which level the criminal got off on.
00:22But the suspect had already seen through Lisa's disguise.
00:25As she pressed the button, he drew a knife.
00:27Just in time, Jackie entered the elevator.
00:30He discreetly removed Lisa's earring, which was a wiretap, and pretended to be her upset father, hinting that her cover
00:36was blown.
00:37Before the elevator doors closed, he tossed the device away.
00:40Jackie tried to trick the criminal into revealing his floor, but the man stayed cautious and didn't disclose it.
00:46Secretly, Jackie handed Lisa a real earring.
00:49Noticing the missing earring, the criminal grew suspicious.
00:52But Jackie quickly scolded Lisa for losing it, giving her the chance to put the real one on.
00:57The criminal seemed to start buying their father-daughter act.
01:00Then, Jackie took out an apple concealing a hidden camera.
01:03Police seized the opportunity to capture the criminal's face and gather intel.
01:07Shadow face acquired.
01:09Call on camera.
01:10Jackie bit into the apple, exposing the camera, and played it off as if the fruit had gone bad.
01:15He then hinted at financial struggles, making his story about buying cheap.
01:19Spoiled apples more believable.
01:20Still not fully convinced, the criminal kept watching them from a distance.
01:25Jackie warned Lisa not to look back.
01:27They needed to enter an apartment to maintain their cover.
01:29Using a delivery box to block the keyhole, Lisa stood guard while Jackie picked the lock.
01:34Soon, the door opened.
01:36Satisfied, the criminal finally left.
01:39Back in the elevator, the criminal pressed his real floor number, unaware a hidden camera on the ground had caught
01:44it all.
01:44Police quickly installed additional surveillance around the building and identified the criminal's exact unit.
01:49They began full-scale preparations, even replacing trash bags he discarded to search for clues, but found nothing critical.
01:56It turned out the criminal was already aware of the police surveillance.
02:00Later, at a local market, Jackie ran into the criminal again.
02:03This time, the man scanned Jackie to see if he was armed and tested his story about the rotten apples.
02:08Jackie accurately quoted apple prices for memory.
02:11When the criminal pointed toward another vendor, Jackie immediately called it overpriced with poor quality.
02:16He then invited the criminal to dinner at his place.
02:19And the man accepted, eager to inspect Jackie's home.
02:22Inside, the suspect touched surfaces checking for dust, a way to verify how long they'd really lived there.
02:28Just as he was about to spot a flaw in a photo frame, Jackie cleverly redirected his attention and put
02:33him to work cooking.
02:34Suddenly, the criminal asked about the scar on Lisa's forehead.
02:38Jackie couldn't answer, so he sent Lisa to chat with the man and excused himself to the restroom.
02:42The criminal pressed Lisa about the scar.
02:45She claimed she got it in a childhood fight and never told her father, afraid he'd be angry.
02:49So even your father doesn't know, the criminal asked.
02:53Suddenly, Lisa realized the trap, but it was too late.
02:56He turned back to Jackie and repeated the question.
02:58Thank you for sliding it and 않고 to comprehend it.
