00:01Brawny James is entering a new chapter with the Lakers, and he appears determined to make the
00:06most of it. With LeBron James no longer beside him in the Lakers locker room, Brawny has an
00:11opportunity to establish his own identity. He was recently seen staying behind after practice
00:16as the final player working in the gym, showing his commitment to proving that his last name
00:20is not the only reason he belongs in Los Angeles.
00:39Brawny already has a contract with the Lakers, so his roster spot is not currently awaiting
00:44a preseason decision. The real challenge is earning a larger role under JJ Riddick, who
00:49has made it clear that playing time must be earned. With the Lakers expected to continue
00:53supporting his development, every extra repetition could help Brawny secure more minutes during
00:57his third NBA season.
