00:00A look at some of these games coming up this week in football, interesting as well, Craig.
00:06Maybe none more than what we're going to get tomorrow with Pittsburgh and the Browns.
00:12What I did not know when I learned earlier today is just how pathetic Pittsburgh has been on Thursday night
00:18and how the Browns, for whatever reason, have actually kind of had the Steelers' number here.
00:24Every trend that I see points to the Browns, and that would mean that the Browns are going to win
00:31three games in a row here.
00:33As crazy as that is to see, Pittsburgh has just not been good against this team in this spot on
00:41this night for whatever reason.
00:43It does feel like when Pittsburgh plays on Monday or Thursday, they get the national attention, lose,
00:51and then come back and win a game that they're not supposed to the following week at all.
00:54It feels like right when you're ready to knock Pittsburgh off, they come back and surprise you.
01:01That was Tomlin's M.O.
01:02Last week was a good example of that.
01:04No one really thought that, and then you could just tell right away it was going to be a close
01:08game.
01:09This is a very tough one to call for me on Thursday night.
01:14Like, I definitely think the Browns are fraudulent.
01:17I still think they're going to lose 10 games, maybe 11, and maybe even this one too.
01:23And because they played so well, or at least better, the last couple of weeks,
01:28all of a sudden maybe some faith has been restored.
01:31So the Steelers are the only team I could take in this matchup.
01:35I could not take Cleveland.
01:38I know they had that win against Tampa Bay, which was a surprise.
01:44And last week they came back and won.
01:46It was a surprise.
01:47But I still don't like the makeup of their team.
01:50And the only thing that stops me from just flat out, you know, taking Pittsburgh in the matchup
01:56is that, is it possible?
01:58Like, we just have to ask ourselves this question.
02:01Is it possible that even though Watson may never be what he was before,
02:05is it possible that he is half of what he was before?
02:08And half of Watson is still better than, like, five quarterbacks in the NFL
02:13because Watson was one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
02:16People forget that.
02:17We forget that, Craig.
02:18He was, like, as good as anyone.
02:21Like, he was maybe not one or two, but he was, like, right there.
02:25And he got that mega deal.
02:26And so 70% or 60% of Deshaun Watson is better than Aaron Rodgers.
02:32Like, probably.
02:33So, like, you think to yourself, like, eh, maybe they could win.
02:36I'm just going to stay away from this one.
02:41The lean every time I have, and it's been wrong, I guess, even last Thursday night, too,
02:45is I got to believe at some point soon we're going to get these unders on Thursday night.
02:49Like, I can't imagine that we're not going to get, like, a run of these unders.
02:53We do every year.
02:54And last Thursday, Penix just went nuts.
02:58So that's probably my direction, at least on this.
03:01And then the guy from a prop perspective that I love and continue to love is Jalen Warren
03:07with, like, no competition in that backfield.
03:10He is so underrated at running back, Joe.
03:12It seems like the second they realize they have him on the team is when the team starts
03:17to play well.
03:18They started giving him the ball again last week a lot.
03:20I think you're going to see a lot of him this week.
03:22I think he's going to have a big game for Pittsburgh.
03:25I don't know if they'll win or lose, but without Gainwell there.
03:28And Gainwell, like, ate into a lot of his time last year.
03:30That's not happening this year.
03:32So Warren's props are the ones that I'd like tomorrow.
03:36Yeah, he was very good last game.
03:38I mean, he was the reason why, Craig, they were able to do it.
03:41127 yards on the ground.
03:43The Steelers are a different beast when they are running the ball.
03:48And kind of unexpected, because I don't know a lot of people had thought he was going to
03:52have the kind of day that he actually did.
03:55But kudos.
03:57And it's amazing what happens when you get the threat of the run with the Steelers.
04:01It opens things up for Aaron Rodgers and the quick passing game.
04:05And yeah, I mean, I'll forget they got some tight ends there.
04:08They got they game plan wise matchup wise.
04:12If you can't stop the Steelers from running, they are a different team.
04:15But to your point, I mean, 38 and a half, if there's going to be rain, there's going to
04:21be some wind tomorrow.
04:23I'll just watch it.
04:24A lot of running.
04:26I, you know, I mean, it's not like Deshaun Watson is throwing 40 yard bombs.
04:30Like it's, it's, it is kind of dink and dunk.
04:33He's getting better, though.
04:35He's getting a little better, though.
04:36Like he's like a five out of a 10.
04:38Like he's like, if he was a 10, three years ago, he's a five right now.
04:42And that's fine.
04:43Like they just, they didn't, he was, he's not a negative player at the moment.
