00:00Chad Lowe's 13-year-old daughter Fiona has died, with the actor and his wife Kim Painter remembering her as
00:05a loving, smart, and creative girl who loved to dance.
00:09Lowe and Painter shared the news in the statement to Page Six on September 29th, saying they are deeply heartbroken
00:15by the loss of their daughter.
00:17She was adored by her sisters, and she was deeply loved by her parents, they said. In fact, she was
00:23the light of our lives.
00:24The couple said Fiona's passing is devastating for their entire family, and asked for prayers and privacy as they grieve.
00:30Their statement also concluded by encouraging anyone struggling with mental health, or anyone who knows someone who is, to reach
00:37out to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
00:40Fiona was the middle of Lowe and Painter's three daughters. The couple also share a 17-year-old Mabel and
00:45a 10-year-old Nixie.
00:46Lowe and Painter began dating in 2007 and married in Los Angeles in August 2010.
00:51They welcomed Mabel in May 2009, before tying the knot the following year, and Fiona was born in February 2012.
00:59Fiona's middle name, Hepler, was a tribute to Lowe's late mother, Barbara Lynn Wilson, who died in 2003.
01:05Their youngest daughter, Nixie, was born in March 2016, and her middle name, Barbara, also honors her grandmother.
01:12Lowe often shared his pride in his daughters on social media. In February, he celebrated Fiona's 13th birthday, with a

01:27The actor also opened up about fatherhood on the Still Here Hollywood podcast in 2024, calling it a privilege to

01:36He said having them had changed the way he viewed the world, particularly when it comes to issues affecting women.
01:41In February 2025, Lowe shared photos of all three girls visiting what was left of their childhood home, after it
01:47was destroyed in the Palisades Fire.
01:50The way they've handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable, he wrote.
01:54I am in awe of their spirit and resilience.
01:57He added that helping his daughters navigate those difficult times was his sole purpose, calling being their dad the greatest
