00:00Here we go again. The migrant caravans are heading towards the southern border once again.
00:08Yep. Midterms are right around the corner and they're hoping that Democrats win.
00:13So get out and vote. Vote Republican.
00:19So the midterms are a little over 30 days away. And don't you know,
00:23migrant caravans are already mobilizing towards our southern border.
00:27It looks like they're preparing for Democrats to win back Congress.
00:30But the question is, who is paying for this?
00:33Because poor migrants don't just mobilize themselves, travel through multiple countries,
00:38and somehow have food, water, and medical assistance along the way.
00:42Well, it turns out organizations are helping them.
00:44This new caravan called Fe y Esperanza left Honduras, crossed Guatemala,
00:49and has now entered Mexico with hundreds of migrants heading north.
00:53And when they arrived in Tapachula, the help was already there.
00:56Food, water, medical care, and hygiene supplies.
01:00Organizations including Proyecto FARA and ADRA were providing assistance.
01:04So naturally, I wanted to know who's paying them.
01:07And here's where we got to follow the money.
01:09Because this is a major international humanitarian organization
01:13that receives U.S. government funding, our money, including USAID,
01:17for programs in Central America.
01:19But I checked the funding for the assistance being provided to this particular caravan.
01:23And according to local reporting, that assistance is being funded by
01:27The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
01:30But it doesn't just stop there.
01:31Because this caravan has only made it to southern Mexico.
01:34They're planning to continue north.
01:36And some of the migrants are openly saying that their goal is to reach the United States.
01:41So as they move north, who is feeding them?
01:43Who is housing them?
01:44Who is providing transportation, legal services, medical care?
01:47And most importantly, does any of that money trace back to the American taxpayer?
01:52Because if it does, you're going to know exactly who paid for it.
01:55You.
01:56This is why the midterms are so important.
01:59It is not just about what's happening in this country.
02:01It is what the world is watching and what they're preparing for come November 4th.
