00:02All right, my name is Ryan Bousfield, I'm Creative Director at Wolfenwood and I'm
00:06going to run you through a quick developer blog on the different building
00:09systems in My Cannibal Family, our co-op monster horror simulator that combines
00:14theme park building and immersive stealth action. So first of all we're going to
00:19need some scrap and at our salvage yard we can process a scrap into the building
00:23materials we need. Now let's build up the entranceway a little bit. So the
00:28building system is essentially panels that all click together. Foundations,
00:32walls, floors, stairs all snap in a satisfying way. We've got hundreds of
00:38different building pieces spread across different themes and you can combine
00:42these themes in any way into any disgusting mess you can think of. Let's
00:47put a little bit of creativity into this one, give it a little bit of style. We'll
00:50need to start with our first attraction. Attractions are a primary way of leading
00:56guests around. We'll use attractions to create a flow and by creating a flow we
01:01can set traps and distractions, build up the park to work as a real death machine.
01:07We've got a little carnival area set up, we'll put an attraction in, a malfunctioning
01:12fortune teller and we want to tell people about it. So we'll place a sign, we can
01:18highlight it and guests are going to see the sign and head over there. That allows
01:22us to create that flow we know exactly where they're going to go. I'm going to
01:26add to my carnival tent by adding a distraction. So if two people enter we can
01:31draw one away to split them up. Their concentration is now elsewhere and we can
01:36pick off the other one. Divide and conquer. That's what that term means isn't it?
01:40Now if we delve in and have a look at the traps we have available. Spike wall, crushers
01:46always fun, saw pit, goo pit, goo pit. Let's go with that. Right now that looks lovely. So
01:53two people come in, one person gets distracted, one person visits the
01:57attraction and then comes out and then we drop them into a pit of aggressive goo
02:02worms and that automates the whole process. So with all the combinations, all the
02:07different parts and components, there's a huge amount we can do. All it requires is
02:12an amount of creativity and a bit of a twisted mind to get those parks working in
02:17your favor. And on that light note, thanks for watching. You can follow us on
