Have you ever wondered how a body is buried in Islamic tradition without a wooden coffin, and how it stays protected from direct soil? 🤔

In Islam, burial is a deeply respectful, humble, and structured process. The body is wrapped in a simple white cloth (Kafan) and placed inside the grave. Instead of dropping soil directly onto the body, a side niche called a "Lahad" is carved into the bottom wall of the grave. The body is placed inside facing the Qibla, and wooden planks are placed over the niche to block the falling soil
