00:04So Team Novo Nordis is the world's first all-diabetes professional cycling team.
00:08I've got athletes from around the world, many here from Italy, racing to, you know, inspire, educate, and empower people
00:15affected by diabetes.
00:16These are kids, or they were kids, and now they're young adults, young men, some are mothers, fathers,
00:22and they prove every day to people with diabetes that if you have access to the medicine,
00:27if you take control and you take the daily steps necessary, you can achieve your dream.
00:32So I'm so happy that EASD is back in Italy.
00:35Milano has always been a great home for us.
00:38Every year we've participated in Milano San Remo.
00:40It's been success and visibility to the world, you know, everyone around the world.
00:46But it's been great to be, you know, we meet with scientists, we meet with researchers.
00:50We figure out not only how we can, you know, continue to improve and make marginal gains as a professional
00:55cycling team,
00:56but for our athletes, how can we take the learnings and then translate them to health care professionals
01:02and ultimately people living with diabetes, you know, back at home on how to exercise safely
01:07and how to be the best of yourself each and every day.
01:09So it's been great to be in Italy.
01:11I love Milano, and hopefully we'll see you again next year at Milano San Remo.
01:16Thank you.
01:18Thank you.
01:19Thank you.
