The Crowned Roman Guard follows Emperor Livius on a secret mission against Ravenna’s rebellion. Instead of appearing as emperor, he disguises himself as Julia’s bodyguard to investigate the growing threat.
The situation becomes more dangerous as Vitellius and his son Marcus persecute Julia’s family. Livius must continue his investigation while dealing with escalating crises and maintaining his hidden identity. His connection to Marcus, a childhood friend, makes the conflict even more complicated.
When the emperor finally exposes his true identity, he turns his attention toward the masterminds behind the crisis and works to resolve the threat.
The Crowned Roman Guard combines Roman Empire drama, undercover identity, rebellion, royal intrigue, political conflict, and historical short-drama storytelling. With 10 episodes, the series focuses on an emperor operating behind a carefully constructed disguise.
