00:00You were accused of murder at 15 years old.
00:04Ruby Rose sat down for her first ever podcast interview and she left our jaws dropped.
00:09The Australian actress, who was never shy to talk about touchy subjects,
00:13revealed she was once accused of causing a child's tragic death.
00:16At the age of 15, Rose says she and her friend
00:19were the first to notice a horrific sight on a playground.
00:22I saw something on the play equipment and I went,
00:25oh, I thought it was a doll hanging and my friend also,
00:30we looked locked eyes and we started walking towards it.
00:32I'd known my friend Myra for my whole life.
00:35As we got close enough, we could tell this was a real human,
00:39like a four and a half year old.
00:40There was blood coming out of his ears, nose and mouth.
00:43It was very traumatic.
00:44Rose thought she had saved the boy's life by carrying him back to the house
00:47where adults perform CPR.
00:49But tragically, it was too late.
00:51The child was later pulled off life support and in a shocking twist,
00:54Rose was questioned by police.
00:56She claims people in her town had accused her of being a, quote,
00:59baby killer and the boy's mother never forgave her.
01:02Eventually, the four year old's older brother told the truth.
01:05It was a freak accident on the playground slide involving a nail.
01:09A dark cloud seems to follow Ruby Rose.
01:12She just attended her friend Hayden Panettiere's memorial in Malibu.
01:15And there was this story back in April of this year.
01:18In a shocking turn of events over Coachella weekend,
01:21Ruby Rose accused Katy Perry of sexual assault 20 years ago at a nightclub in Australia.
01:27A rep for the singer has denied the claims.
01:30Here's how it all went down.
01:32Perry and her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,
01:35made waves at the music festival in California,
01:38where the singer joked about headliner Justin Bieber's YouTube heavy set.
01:42And that is premium.
01:48Rose then took to social media and commented on a Threads post from Complex Music about Perry, writing,
01:55Katy Perry's sexual assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne,
01:59who gives a what she thinks.
02:01When a fan replied,
02:03She kissed a girl and you didn't like it?
02:05Reverencing Perry's breakout 2008 song,
02:07the Australian actress responded with a series of alarming accusations.
02:11She didn't kiss me, she saw me resting on my best friend's lap to avoid her,
02:16and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side,
02:18and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face,
02:21until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her.
02:26After it I threw up on her, I told the story publicly,
02:29but changed it to be a funny little drunk story,
02:31because I didn't know how else to handle it.
02:33Later she agreed to help me get my US visa,
02:36so I kept it a secret, but I did tell y'all she wasn't a good person.
02:40Rose, who is a lesbian, previously starred in the TV shows Batwoman,
02:44and Orange is the New Black.
02:46Now 40, the outspoken actress wrote that it's taken her almost two decades to say this publicly,
02:51and find her voice.
02:53She also posted that she went to the police regarding the alleged sex crime.
02:57In a statement to Page Six, Perry's rep denied Rose's claim.
03:01The allegations being circulated on social media about Ruby Rose and Katy Perry are not only
03:06categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies.
03:10Ms. Rose has a well documented history of making serious public allegations on social media,
03:16against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.
03:21It's not the first public fight Ruby Rose has picked.
03:24Last year she went after Sydney Sweeney, calling her a cretin,
03:28who ruined the boxing biopic Christy, which flopped at the box office.
03:32Rose claimed she was originally attached to play Christy Martin's high school girlfriend in the film,
03:37but ultimately lost the role.
03:39The real life boxer then defended Sweeney on Instagram.
03:42I've always been a fighter, my life reflected that in every way, and now I fight for others.
03:47Sid not only worked her ass off for this film, she worked her ass off for me, for my story,
03:53for so many others suffering in silence.
03:55So I want to be clear about who Sid is.
03:58She is my friend and ally.
